Mehhh I refuse to believe he has the athletic ability of Shakir.

good point. The terrible playcalling has limited what Shakir might be capable of.

Damn that Drake Maye, he throws a nice easy accurate touch pass.

He’s already a better pure passer than Josh. Will he keep it up as the league gets more film on him and starts to go after his weaknesses?

The Jets are going to need to keep scoring. It’s annoying that the Pats got in but they can’t hate this start. We are 16 minutes in or whatever and each team has had the ball once. Let’s have another long drive here for points.

Sadly i can’t disagree. He won’t stack up the rushing numbers or TDs, but the passing won’t get worse. it’s already nearly elite

This is the first time I have watched the Pats since we lost to them. This is depressing, especially because they have 60 million to spend this offseason. They have stars at QB and RB, both are really young, and all the money in the world to improve even more. I'm feeling a negative rant coming on. I'll keep it to myself.

People will figure out how to limit Maye. It’s his second season, but really his first season putting tape in this offense. Last year was a mulligan.

It recently has happened to Daniels and Stroud.

You think they can sustain the run game?

Pats seemed a little meh if I’m honest. Short week might have to be played through.

yeah, deadly accurate.  Like 72% on the season.  That’s not normal.  He can sling from the pocket no problem and throw on the run if he needs to

I admit that I did not see this coming whatsoever from him! I thought he could be a decent QB one day, but not great. He’s looking like a great composed QB!

When he throws for 30+ TDs a few times that would be more appropriate

If you're just taking eight-ten stretches, CJ Stroud look like the next hot thing and he barely holding on

Maye is playing terrific.. how he bounces back from bad weeks will show a lot more
