Not really. Davis Mills was adequate, Tennessee are horrific. If you weren’t expecting the Texans to give him the extra week of rest I don’t know what to tell you anyone lol

It was more rhetorical, actually. It just seems like something that would happen to us.

Oh, usually it’s the doom and gloom and that we get the wrong end of the stick
My apologies for taking it literal.

Justin Fields and give half credit for Joe Burrough. .

Dwayne sand troy Smith but your point is well taken, usually not good.

fields is terrible. I would argue Burrow doesn’t count because he never played more than a handful of snaps at Ohio State.

But isn’t it weird? One of the historically best programs in the country with the best groups of wide receivers, And they have never really fielded an elite pro QB. Just an interesting anomaly !

Maybe because when you have the skill positions of Ohio State you just need a prototypical college quarterback to get it done

Colleges don't recruit kids based on their pro potential they recruit them based on how quickly they can help them in college... Tim Tebow one of the best college quarterbacks of all time

Realistically those are the style of quarterbacks Ohio state has been recruiting for the majority.. athletic quarterbacks who can take advantage of great weapons

Not exactly pure pocket passing Savants... Even when they get a good pocket passer they have three first round pick wide receivers so it's harder to gauge who's really doing more ... Even last year the kid from Kansas state was a running threat at Kansas State... All the passing weapons opened up his arm at Ohio state

it's typically the wide receivers and running backs that open up things for Ohio State wide QBs

agree with all of this. But do you think the absolute elite QB prospects shy away from Ohio State? I would think they would want to go to a place with great receivers.
