  • BillsFan619 changed the title to CJ Stroud ruled for 2nd straight game with concussion

Yep, that was a brutal hit he took.  He looked like a rookie on that play not protecting himself better and his play is way down from his elite rookie year.  The Texans great comeback last week was enginered by Davis Mills, a perennial; QB backup.  I dont "fear" CJ anymore at all.

Does anyone else have a sick feeling that he will have a comeback game for the ages against us?   😂

No, that was Davis <ills that had that heroic comeback, not CH.

Pretty meaningless, Stroud stinks. Probably moves the point spread .5 points if that.

We can definitely lose to them, but it will be because the offense gets shut down again.

Yep, their defense is the real deal, it is going to  be an incrediby low scoring game.

Nope. I worry more about Davis Mills looking like Johnny Unitas against us, tho.

As long as Josh doesn't pull another 9 completion on 30 pass attempts against them again I think we will be ok

can anyone name an Ohio state QB who has actually been any good as a pro?! Like ever?

I guess we should leave Art Schlichter out of this?

Very sad, and an age old reminder.

My hopes are still up for Cardale Jones.  The Tremaine Edmunds of quarterbacks.

Only 21 this year...

Classic over draft by a poor GM in retrospect.

Justin Fields and give half credit for Joe Burrough. .

Dwayne sand troy Smith but your point is well taken, usually not good.

Typically players ruled out on a Sunday usually don’t come back for a Thursday game. They used that little break after the game to heal up even more. I don’t think he plays next Thursday…

I posted here a few times that his rookie outcomes were far above his rookie performance.

I don’t recall details offhand but many turnover worthy passes that were dropped. Receivers catching a higher rate of off target passes than usual etc…

the advanced stats were really bad compared to the actual

My guess is they are sitting him out because they can beat the Titans without him. He’ll most likely be back against us

My guess is he failed his concussion tests, and they will start him the absolute instant he passes and even earlier if they can find a way to get him through illegally

Not really. Davis Mills was adequate, Tennessee are horrific. If you weren’t expecting the Texans to give him the extra week of rest I don’t know what to tell you anyone lol
