dpberr Posted November 13 Posted November 13 The NFL filed a grievance against the NFL Players Association, asking the union to stop its annual team report cards and saying the exercise violates the collective bargaining agreement by airing public criticism of teams, according to documents obtained by ESPN. 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Damn straight! Let the players grade the officials! 😁 1 1 1 Quote
US Egg Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Well it’s not right that some teams pamper their players more than others. Quote
Virgil Posted November 13 Posted November 13 In reading the entire article, I do agree that the players should also have to provide suggestions as to how they would improve the situation. Giving a grade without context doesn't help improve things. 1 2 1 Quote
boyst Posted November 13 Posted November 13 when will the fans be able to vote? sadly we keep turning it on. Quote
Low Positive Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Nothing in those report cards trumps money or winning in players' free agent decisions. 1 Quote

Many Bs, one A (for weight room) but a C in Training Staff (surprise!) and an F in Team Travel (Shocker #2). The Bills were ranked 32 out of 32 in team travel. Edited November 13 by dpberr 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Why would a C in Training Staff surprise you? Given the number of injuries on the Bills, I'd think it'd be even lower. Why does an F in team travel surprise? When a team leaves on Friday for a Sunday game in England... Quote
SoCal Deek Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Now wait a minute! You can ban report cards? That’s not what I was told when I suggested it back in Junior High School! 1 Quote

Draconator Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I may take a Saturday and give out report cards on posters here at TBD. Actually, that may take multiple Saturday's. 2 Quote

EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 14 Posted November 14 As a proud union member, I am sorry to say that based on the article, the NFL is likely to win this in arbitration if it were to get to that point in the process. 1 Quote
Búfalo Blanco Posted November 14 Posted November 14 The NFL wants that criticism quashed, just like their squeaky clean, fair and balanced officiating, eh..? And water is somehow wet… 1 Quote
