We need a scape goat and the majority have chosen to make Keon just that. Coleman was close to useless on Sunday. I was one of his biggest supporters in the draft process so it gives me no pleasure to admit this. He's jogging on a lot of his routes. He's slow off the line and not where he needs to be when Allen gets to the top of his drop. He doesn't make good adjustments to the ball in the air. He had one good play against Miami's #4 CB. Good for him. The rest of the game he showed poor effort and poor technique. Best case scenario is he flushes this season and comes back a new man next year. The more likely scenario unfortunately is that he is just a major bust. 1 Quote
Brandon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If he was ever going to have a good game, it should be this weekend. Tampa Bay's pass defense stinks and he should get more opportunities with the injuries to Kincaid and Shakir. 3 hours ago, Low Positive said: I have never seen this fanbase turn on a player like this. Ever. This level of vitriol is usually reserved in Buffalo for tall defensemen who don't like to hit. It's nowhere near as bad as during the Rob Johnson years. Quote

The topic is what will be the stats with Coleman on Sunday, so I was saying if Davis is ready then COLEMAN should be inactive. You misinterpreted. Now we are on the same page. Quote
todd Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm usually a rose colored glasses guy, but Coleman has been crap for most of this year. The Miami game was horrendous. He had one good catch. There were three other similar ones where he was just horrible - like putting a high school kid out there. Didn't come back to the ball, in the wrong spot, not where Josh expected. I love that Josh as a leader doesn't call out players in public - that is a sign of a good leader, btw - but behind closed doors I hope that Josh is beating the ***** out of him. It's only year two, but he's looking like a major bust. Like I said, I'm a rose-colored glasses guy, but I think Coleman should be inactive for a game or two to see if he gets the message. He's doing nothing out there, so what is the point? Quote

He was benched a quarter of a game this year and my memory is foggy but thought he had the same happen last year. Might be remembering wrong though. I, personally, think that his time here is short winding down. Seeing the way both McDermott and Allen chose their words very carefully about him....I don't think he's on solid footing. It wouldn't shock me to see him traded this off-season. 1 Quote

Yeah I don't think it's wise to flush the season away cuz we might need him sometime to make a play and call it foolish but have hope he'll step up in the moment. Quote
