Someone please tell me what I’m missing. We sign a dude that has seen walking papers from a handful of NFL teams already and some are reacting like we just inked myles garrets long lost twin. I watched the highlight clip linked and still am not sure I understand the hype. Feels like Beane shaking the bottom of the barrel to get some heat off of him or maybe I’m crazy and 31 other teams just blew the opportunity

Short of a trade, which didn't happen, there is not a whole lot out there.  I think Za'Darius Smith is still out there.  Fox is something at least.

Beane the magician is able to find HOF level DEs that are just living in vans down by the river.  Leave no van untouched.
