im probably the boards biggest Gabe “hater” but the dude has made some amazing toe taps on the sideline. His problem has always been consistency with his hands and not being on the same page as Allen.

Toe tap/drag Gabe in the Indy playoff game was awesome.

Ive been saying for weeks, they need to pick ONE of Samuel or Moore to focus on getting regularly involved in the passing game.  And I always felt that guy was Moore as I think he has a higher ceiling as a downfield WR/Threat.

With Palmer out, its mind blowing they didn't focus on getting Moore and Keon more consistently involved in the offense.  Like run plays designed to get them open and the ball.  Put them in their best positions to succeed out there and make an effort to make them part of the game plan.

Keon is Mack Hollins 2.0 right now, where he is heavily used as a blocker when we need more from him as a receiver.  I have yet to see a game plan where it was like lets move Keon around and get him going like Atlanta or Indy does with guys like London and Pittman who are also not burners.  And Moore is the new McKenzie right now, they use him as a gadget guy and not really someone they seem to try and work into the passing game enough.

I just want to see Brady use the tools he has better and smarter.  Cook is under utilized as a receiver as well.

My biggest question about receivers is Beane’s hesitancy to resign Hollins. He was so productive and clutch. He was not going to be expensive but with other clubs interested it was just easier to let him walk .Samuel has been often injured and it’s obvious Josh has no trust or desire to target him. Moore, for whatever reason is an afterthought in our offense. With Palmer being a lower tier addition as a FA, it makes you wonder how Beane is prioritizing talent or if he is just slapping together journeyman players that fit into the beleaguered cap situation he has with the overpaid players he has extended and Josh/Cook contracts. It’s hard to reconcile the sad reality that Beane never intended to add any quality talent with an untenable financial commitment and this will continue. Unless he stumbles on a player drafted late in round one, Josh will have to make due with lesser talent at receiver.

Hollins was a dog. A big time juice guy. None of his measurables or stats jump off the page but Josh and that offense knew he was coming to fight every Sunday and we have NOBODY like that this year. I haven’t even seen Dion get fighting mad but once all year. We used to call those kind of personal fouls moto15’s and every now and then you need to see some of that. Our offense has looked DOA almost every game this year. I think guys like Hollins attitude is worth way more than he would have counted against the cap and he’s proving it in New England

It’s painful to think we’re wasting our great QB with game plans that are designed around a receiving corps that can’t stretch the field or get separation. Realistically our talent level can’t improve until we purge this roster of players that are overpaid and not impactful. Sadly I don’t think Beane, with his resume of roster construction shouldn’t be the one making these decisions.

What sucks is if/when Gabe move to the Active Roster, it will likely be Shavers who is released. Hopefully back to the PS, but who knows. Coleman will be inactive on game days, but he isn’t getting released.

And I agree on more Moore.

Not that Shavers is all that as a receiver, but he would stick as he's a good blocker and special team demon. If anybody would ride the pine it would be Keon. He is next to useless and gets the lion's share of the snaps.

And don't forget that Hollins was a very good special teams player.

It's absolutely bizarre and not only that when keon is on the field, because he's so slow it dramatically changes the coverage for the other wide receivers

I don't even necessarily have a problem with the other wrs. Keon taking 70% of the snaps is dragging everything down.

The best thing for him right now is to be an inactive for a few weeks to help reset mentally. It's not working

Samuel is a good WR. Him never getting on the field here is infuriating. Give him colmans snaps the guy would be getting twice the production. I honestly don’t know what this coach sees or how his brain works. It’s maddening. The guy is the only person in the league that constantly rotates in backups for zero benefit but then blackballs good players. It’s like he’s trying to win the hard way

A no brainer, he should be a Bill instead of the receivers on this roster, Shakir and Kincaid being the only keepers.

Samuel gave the Bills some good snaps near the end of the season, but that same player just has not been there in 2025 despite being fully healthy. Inconsistency has followed his Bills career, and it’s gotten even worse this season. Over his five active games, Samuel has run a total of 73 routes, according to TruMedia and Pro Football Focus. He’s been targeted only six times. For wide receivers in 2025 who have run at least 50 routes, Samuel’s 8.2 percent target rate ranks 138th out of 144 qualifying players. He’s run mostly empty-calorie routes this season and has drawn little attention from defenders. He doesn’t provide the same cushion or verticality as Moore. Plus, Samuel’s routes don’t have the same precision as others on the team. Samuel’s lone target against the Dolphins came on a scramble drill when he just stopped and stood where he was while Allen bought more time for someone to get open. Taking Samuel’s snaps and putting them in the hands of receivers who can better threaten a defense can help maximize Allen’s opportunities.'

To me, the bolded part is absolutely inexcusable and may partially explain why Samuel has been a failure in Buffalo.

How can a WR come to play for this team and JUST STAND THERE when Josh Allen is extending the play outside the pocket!!!!!  This should be one of the first thing our offensive coordinator and receivers coach is teaching.  We have #17.  Just because he finished running his route doesn't mean the play is over.  Keep trying to get open.

The lack of fundamentals we discover about this team on an almost weekly basis is just astounding and disappointing.

But it doesn't. There are deep routes, there are patterns and plays designed to go down the field. Guys are not getting open, Josh is being a bit tentative in attacking tight windows and it is resulting in a lot of check downs on plays designed to go downfield. Brady's offense in Carolina attacked down the field plenty. They were 9th in the NFL in explosive pass rate in 2020 with Teddy Two Gloves at Quarterback. The plays are there in the design. They are not being made primarily because the receivers can't get open.

I am not impressed with Brady AT ALL... that said... this as much a Beane failure as it is a Brady failure Josh is holding the ball forever in hopes of a reciever getting open not named Shakir or Kincaid... and the only thing he completes down field is when he runs for his life and DBs break contain...  But of course dont say that our WR are horrible cause the Bean Counter will yell at you...
