I don’t see them going anywhere, especially when they are opening up a new stadium next season. Terry Pegula will not want any more chaos added to his plate

Terry may not want it but he’s already got it. Stop forcing a subpar regime that’s taken Josh as far as they can and get a new regime centered around supporting Josh with the new stadium

What has Gruden ever done besides run a good Tampa roster into the ground?

Seriously.  What's the infatuation with this guy?

Watch his game match ups on you tube.

If we are entertaining this pipe dream, I’d take a chance on an offensive minded HC

No particular order:

Kliff Kingsbury, Lane Kiffin or Klint Kubiak.

If Kiffin comes to the NFL I would venture to say it’s the Giants job given his college QB is there.

If they don’t choose any of those guys or they aren’t available, I wouldn’t mind Robert Salah. However, the minute those “players coach” lose the locker room it’s pretty much no salvageable

Kubiak is my first choice by far but Saleh with McDaniel at OC intrigues me. Both San Fran guys so the connection is easy to make. Saleh always had his defense performing at a top tier level and it wasn't his choice to bring the circus to town in New Jersey.

No thanks.

He's 117-112 as a head coach.

Who were his QBs?

Derek Carr  and Rich Gannon were his best. He's had Chris Dimms, Brian Greese, Brad Johnson.

That's not cream of the crop by any stretch.

Klint Kubiak is going to be the hot name this hiring cycle.

Kliff Kingsbury is a possibility I suppose.

Nobody else really excites me. I've seen Jim Bob Cooter's name mentioned but that's not his offense in Indy.

I would prefer someone who is offensive minded paired with an experienced DC.

Klint Kubiak is the guy if it really does go down. It's hard not to like a young guys, who has done what we had, and has the family tree of learning this game.

Saleh would also be one of the few guys where I don't think we have to totally rebuild on defense. That combination would be nasty.

I mean I don’t disagree, I just think it doesn’t happen. The organization feels very stale and complacent.

I'd be good with keeping McD if they picked up Kingsbury as OC and McD stayed out of his way. Then either let McD focus on helping the DC or b ing in Schwartz and McF can just focus on being the HC.

McD needs to stop trying to build his coaching tree by promoting from within. His tree is more like a shrub, barely clinging to life.

There are  plenty ofthreads about McD and Beane. I have arguments with family and friends about both, with many of them afraid to move on, solely because they are afraid of who Terry will hire to replace them. My brother continues to ask me, who's better for HC than McD that is out there?

My answer is Gruden. I think if he hires a competent OC, he would be able to bring Josh back to the Josh that we all know and have seen dominate the NFL. He definitely would not give Josh the weapons he has now, and if he inherited the guys we do have now, I'm certain that he could squeeze a little bit more production out of them then this current staff is. Just his firey attitude would contribute more than this Xanax crew is giving us.

What HC/ GM combo do you all suggest? Realistic duos please.

Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott, please.
