Every team has injuries; Buffalo is not in any type of special category because of theirs'.  I am sure an argument can be made that there are 10 teams in the league in worse shape injury wise than the Bills.  Oliver is the only proven difference maker out for a long period of time.

It's not like we only lost Oliver, we also lost Hoecht, Benford etc. Most teams yes can afford one injury but when start adding them up it does matter.

And on defense, I would suspect McDermott takes back his defense.

With the nostalgia kick they're on with players, maybe they get Leslie Frazier back from Seattle?  Stranger things have happened.

I wonder what Nathaniel Hackett would bring to the organization?

(besides angina and indigestion). 🤔🙄

I don’t want a new GM. I think we have good players. I think the issue is coaching. I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel and as unpopular as it sounds, I like Brady. My only wish is for a new voice in the defensive room. If it was up to me I’m promoting Brady to HC. I want an established DC that preferably has HC experience to just fix this mess. A dream scenario is Wade Philips. That’s probably not realistic. I want a guy in that mold. Was a HC and has a history of excellent defenses. I want nothing that has to do with any philosophy that McDermott has ever touched. I want fast and physical, man aggressive Defense.  If the Brady ship has sailed, I’d be interested in a guy that has already won. Belicheck or Gruden. I’m not going to get another HC that is a lateral move. I either want one of the top end guys or I’ll stay the course with Brady and hire the best DC available. We are really close. A slight change in defensive coaching can get us over the hump. I know it

How do you feel about Vance Joseph?

Beane is trying to fit round talent into the square peg that is McDermott's antiquated Cover 2 defense. They've spent all of our resources and money on the defense and have literally had zero return on those investments. When speaking of the GM, people need to understand that McDermott hired him, not the other way around. I think McDermott needs to go way more than I think Beane needs to go. I'd like to see Beane hire his own coach and if I were him in that position, I would be pursuing Lane Kiffin.

I live in St Petersburg (Tampa Bay Area), you don't want Gruden. The many Buc fans that I know were glad he when left. Gruden does not belong in Buffalo.

Getting rid of Beane would be a big mistake, the problem is not Beane. Beane works on contracting the players recommended to him by the coaches and scouting staff. He doesn't operate in a vacuum.

He definitely has been trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

Been saying that since the year the drafter Boogie and tries to turn him into a DE. Did the same with Elam (Another huge waste of a first round) the kid was a cover corner and they run a zone.

Tremaine- everyone with a pulse could see that the kids was not meant to be a MLB after year 2.

They make AJ get small after they draft him, which gave him more speed, but way less power.  How's that working out?

They  resigned  and overspent on Bernard, Knoxx, Shakir, Benford, Samuel, and then sign 2 guys that were suspended for PEDs, which they could've recinded their offer once that came out, but they didn't. Hoecht played in what 2 games? Looked decent, but steroids do cause injuries. Onjunobi or however you spell his name is invisible.

If people are saying that Beane runs the draft, which many on here say he is, then no thanks to keeping Beane either.

Epenesa is more impactful than Groot.

Neither of them get us double digit sacks, so maybe you wanna fight them.

I will say that for what we pay AJ, he's on a much better deal than Greg.

Yea if it's just Beane making the picks without input from the coaching staff then the whole thing is busted and needs to be blown up. But I have a strong suspicion that McDermott is the one with final say. Remember when he benched Cook for like half a season because of a single fumble?

Greg's got 3 sacks in what 8 games. He on pace for his usual season high 8 sacks. 20mil per year for 8 sacks?

Beane is always the smartest in the room.

The season needs to play out still. We could go all the way still.

HOWEVER, if it doesn't look good and the offense struggles and we exit the playoffs early, especially if it's against an up and comer team and not KC again, do not be shocked if McDermott and Beane are let go and Brian Daboll is the new HC.

The Von Miller deal may have been one of the worst signings in Bills history.

That's why I want both gone. There's no telling how these guys would play if they were developed by a coach that isn't trying to hold on to an antiquated system.

I believe the right DC comes in, with a different system,  maybe the AJs and Greg's play different.
