Not saying he is on Reids level, but old school guy with knowledge about the new school offenses. I do watch his breakdowns on YOUTUBE and find it very insightful He has a win percentage of .511. Mike McDaniel has a win percentage of .528. Quote

Again, for coaches that are definitely available, I mentioned Gruden. I see positives in him. We've seen all there is to see with Beane and McD. Every year we keep hoping that he will have learned and Every year there's the same outcome. The only thing that changes with McD and Beane are who they decide is the scapegoat for the year. 10 minutes ago, Kirby Jackson said: He has a win percentage of .511. Teams have figured it out and he cannot change or adapt when that happens 1 Quote

He’s been a bad football coach for a really long time. There are dozens of better options out there. Quote

Rich Stadium Original Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 17 pages of wishful thinking...sorry to be a wet blanket, but for those of you who aren't familiar with the owner, Terry Pegula, he also owns the Buffalo Sabres hockey team. They've had the same GM, who is a likeable guy, who's team hasn't even had a whiff of the playoffs in the 6 years he's been in that position....and hes still around (so far)... So what do you think the chances are of the same owner firing his GM and/or coach who has won their division each of the last six years?? ...This could be a while.... Quote

I dont know whos good that is available in College or NFL. I keep hearing about Kubiak. Don't know much about him. I feel like we let the Vrabel ship sail, whe I've been a big fan of his and we could've made the obvious move for him when he was an assistant in Cleveland. One thing I'll give Kraft credit for. He saw really quickly that the HC he hired previously wasn't gonna cut it. He ate the salary and hired Vrabel. Pegula on the other hand 🫣 2 minutes ago, Rich Stadium Original said: 17 pages of wishful thinking...sorry to be a wet blanket, but for those of you who aren't familiar with the owner, Terry Pegula, he also owns the Buffalo Sabres hockey team. Kubiak has probably vaulted himself into the top coordinator candidate (or at least one of the top). He’s the new Ben Johnson. Here is a list of 20 candidates for the Giants job. Joe Brady will also be on most of these lists but the Giants won’t hire another Bills OC yet after Daboll so he isn’t on here: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6799945/2025/11/12/ny-giants-coach-candidates-lane-kiffin-jaxson-dart/ Here’s a different list: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/giants-coaching-candidates-to-replace-fired-brian-daboll/ Here’s another: https://www.si.com/nfl/giants-top-head-coach-candidates-daboll-fired Here’s one with Titans candidates: https://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/nfl/titans/2025/11/03/titans-coaching-search-mike-vrabel-mike-mccarthy-joe-brady-brian-flores/86883023007/ Between these lists you’ll see a lot of the same names. There are probably going to be 5+ jobs open. Usually it’s somewhere between 5-8 or something like that. All of the names will certainly be mentioned on one of these lists. 1 Quote

Hell be available and if he can make as much $$ in the NFL as NCAA, im not sure why anybody would stay down there. It might not be less work in the NFL, but your time is allocated exclusively to X & O type work when you take recruitment outta the picture Kiffin was the Raiders coach in the glorious JaMarcus Russell era 1 Quote

Appreciate the work you put into this. I admire the Man that McD is. I think he's a dedicated HC. His flaws are his stubbornness and his conservatism. I hoped after 13 seconds that he would change, but that ain't gonna happen, so the time is now to move on from both imo. 1 Quote

If you draft or sign injury prone players or older players it's a much more common theme Bernard for example was constantly dealing with injuries in college, that's on Beane. Bosa, injury prone, on Beane, depending on Milano or Thompson after the past couple years, on Beane. Landon Jackson for example already had 2 torn acls in college, now it's a 3rd knee issue. That's on Beane.... There's numerous other examples. Von Miller was 33, with multiple serious injuries towards the end when beane decided to give him a ridiculous contract. That's on Beane.... At least with the bosa contract it was just a 1 year 12 mil contract Zack Moss in college - injury prone Poyer, Jordan Phillips, Tre White older injury prone players That's on Beane Beane decided to invest 3 years into Hoecht. We all know given the suspension why that was a risk.... Again this is on Beane Stop drafting smaller, injury prone players on defense Some is luck. But I don't care. Other coaches manage because they adjust. We don't. Or at least not nearly well enough. Quote

I'd want to keep Beane because I've got a really strong feeling McD has his hands all over the picks too. I could be wrong here I admit but I'd work hard to find out his influence there first. Quote

Or at least not nearly well enough. I don't necessarily mind that a lot of the defensive line got hurt this year because when it was healthy it did look like an awesome super bowl level defensive line when we saw it for a whole 2 qtrs vs Carolina. And it was still awesome vs KC without Oliver. My problem was with Brandon beane knowing this before the trade deadline and not adding a major piece on the defensive line.... My only guess is he's hoping TJ Sanders can replace Oliver.... There is something of a silver lining because TJ Sanders before that knee injury from the reports I was reading in training camp was borderline dominant. And I think in one of the preseason games he hurt his knee. And you can tell when he was playing that he was favoring a little bit.... Joe buscaglia said that he was by far the most impressive rookie and could start right away back in training camp.... So if Bosa gets fully back with his wrist and TJ Sanders is the real deal as an interior pass rusher.... Maybe we got something. Add in a healthy Oliver for the playoffs ( fingers crossed) So we'll see As much as ppl get on Beane, this recent class looks extremely promising. Landon Jackson was the only iffy pick that didn't show anything but his traits are extremely high so I understand the pick Edited 1 hour ago by Kelly to Allen 1 Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As I've said elsewhere there's no delusion like bills fan delusion. This team will NEVER pursue a guy like this. Instead it'll be a Palmer type guy. Bargain bin. Undersized. Cheap. #1 reason we need a change. Quote

He just figures out how to make salaries work under the cap, as well as reaching out to various GMs, but McDermott tells him who he wants Quote
