If we are entertaining this pipe dream, I’d take a chance on an offensive minded HC

No particular order:

Kliff Kingsbury, Lane Kiffin or Klint Kubiak.

If Kiffin comes to the NFL I would venture to say it’s the Giants job given his college QB is there.

If they don’t choose any of those guys or they aren’t available, I wouldn’t mind Robert Salah. However, the minute those “players coach” lose the locker room it’s pretty much no salvageable

Sure Saleh want to work under the KKK?

Sean McVay seems to find good to great WR's and Matthew Stafford is playing great at 37.  Not a realistic option, but he would maximize JA's talents for another decade.  I don't hate McDermott, but I blame him for the offensive shortcomings.  I doubt he'll ever bring someone in that doesn't fit his version of complimentary football.

Yeah, but have they:

1. Graduated from the University of Phoenix ONLINE!

2. Run a local hockey rink?

Honestly, Doug Pederson is a better coach. I am not advocating for him either.

Man a Doug Pederson HC with Rex as dc and McDaniel as oc would certainly get us another hard knocks appearance

Let’s go with Belichick at HC, Gruden at OC, and Leslie Frazier at DC. Show these young whippersnapper coaches how it’s done.

GM: Ray Agnew (Lions asst. GM)

HC and play caller: Klint Kubiak

OC: Mike McDaniel

DC: Jonathan Gannon

Obviously pending the last 2 getting fired. Alternatives that don’t need to be fired would be Mark Brunell (Lions QB coach) and Jeff Howard (Seahawks Safeties coach).

Most reasonable &  thought out post I’ve seen so far.

Howie is the best out there right now. Now that's someone who you can say is playing 4D chess.

Dude trades for Phillips, who if  he leaves them in FA they at least recoup the 3rd rounder they traded him for!

Yeah but that would be in two drafts

A savvy move though but not a 2026 3rd round pick

Nobody really knows. People just want change for the sake of making a change. No guarantee that changing HC/GM will amount to anything.

What I do know is that under McDermott/Beane the Bills have done a whole lot of winning. Now they haven’t reached the SB which is disappointing but they have been close. It always comes down to one or two plays that has prevented them on kicking the door down.

I have little to no interest in a recycled guy. I don’t “need” to see someone that won a long time ago. Bill Cowher was never the answer for the 20 straight years of people screaming for him. Gruden sucks. I also don’t think Shanahan and McVay are realistic so cross them off. Those teams aren’t trading their elite coaches because we want them to. Curt Cignetti was my guy but don’t think that we can afford him at this point.

I think that Lane Kiffin is my guy now. He has just enough ego and edge. The Bills have lacked a swagger and killer mentality. This offense would be explosive. Lane would inject that confidence. Schwartz would be my goal at DC.

If Schoen gets fired he would be my GM target. He seems to be the scout. He’s drafted elite talent and the Bills roster was better when he was here. If not Schoen, I’d try to pry Nick Casserio away from the Texans. I don’t know what that looks like either but he’s excellent.

Schoen hasn't looked hot in NY

Id prefer Beane goes. Anyone from SF, KC, Phi, Det front office

McDermott-great coach but being Def minded head coach is such a disadvantage. Especially when the Def is average. O coordinator is always changing.
Ridiculous to have Josh and have a run heavy offense.

Lane Kiffin may be the biggest jackass on planet Earth.

I’m not asking him to marry my daughter. He’s a good football coach, great offensive mind with an edge. This team has no swagger anymore. Watching Josh sit at the end of the bench hanging his head isn’t working for me. I want them to attack play with that edge that’s missing. Kiffin will do that.

Lol, people are seriously advocating for Jon Gruden but not open to Lane Kiffin?!? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣 That’s not directed at you specifically. That’s more directed at this group in general. Jon Gruden is a terrible football coach.

He’s drafted well. That roster is a lot better now than it was when he got there. He found a QB, pass rush and a star WR. That’s a pretty good start.

Best drafting organizations are the eagles, ravens and lions. Lions have been AMAZING since Holmes got there so find his #2 and bring him in.

HC is harder but honestly I don’t think we can do much worse. We just need someone who can gameplan to Josh’s strengths. I’d be fine with bringing Daboll in but I’d love to give Lane Kiffin a shot. Dude is awesome on the offensive side of the ball and seems relaxed and a little more mature now if he was given a 2nd NFL HC gig. Him and Josh would be awesome together.

Some other HC options I would kick the tires on are Curt Cignetti. I know he has no NFL experience and is older BUT this guy is a GREAT coach. Indiana shouldn’t be making the CFB playoffs. They’re a basketball school and this dude is putting up crazy offensive numbers his first 2 years coaching a real CFB program. Matt Nagy did horrible as a first time HC in Chicago with Trubisky but he’s been the KC offensive coordinator for years since and deserves another chance with a real NFL QB. I would love to poach a current HC like Lafleur or Dan Campbell but I don’t think it’s realistic.
