I give the Pats a 25% chance at the division and a 25% chance in their first playoff game, whoever it's against. Edited yesterday at 06:15 AM by Thurman#1 Quote
mannc Posted yesterday at 06:18 AM Posted yesterday at 06:18 AM I think the Jets are going to knock off NE on Thursday night. Just a feeling… 2 Quote
HappyDays Posted yesterday at 06:37 AM Posted yesterday at 06:37 AM I think New England is a year away from being a real contender. Not counting them out because the AFC is just so weak, but they lack a difference maker on the DL and they still need one top tier pass catcher which I think they'll go all out to obtain in the offseason. Don't be surprised if AJ Brown is there next year. The AFC and NFC are equally difficult to predict who will make it out of the conference, but for opposite reasons. The NFC has a bunch of powerhouses that can steamroll their opponents, while every team in the AFC has some fatal flaw or two. Right now honestly I think Baltimore if healthy might be the best in the conference. I'll say they or KC makes it out. 1 Quote
bubba2018 Posted yesterday at 08:25 AM Posted yesterday at 08:25 AM The patriots could beat the chiefs in the playoffs so i don’t get the point of this. This Patriots are good, for christ sakes people are being such wussies 1 Quote

On top of that in the division the Patriots are better than us. We're about to face the buccaneers who aren't perfect, and then a short week against the number one defense in the nfl. Houston could be a bloodbath Quote

The Patriots this year remind me a lot of the Bills the first time we made the AFCCG against Kansas City. As you said, probably a year too early for them, but the conference is weak so they very well may make a deep push. And for the record I would absolutely hate that game being the one to decide the AFC Super Bowl participant. Either KC make a fourth straight SB or Diggs gets to his first. Quote
May Day 10 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) New England may have peaked early. They also have stayed away from injuries somehow, but now it seems they might be getting a taste. In a playoff matchup at this point, I have KC. Just experience. I think Kansas City is in real danger of missing the playoffs outright. They do not look right, especially without Pacheco who seems like he is always hurt. Chris Jones was the most important player on the team and he is either hurt or lost his drive. Gregg Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The Ravens have won three in a row and still get to play the Steelers twice. They are healthy now and when healthy they have one of the best rosters in football. I think they are winning their division. I think this is the year the Ravens get past the Chiefs and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. IMHO. Quote
Walking Tall Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Patriots are right where the Bills were when we made it to the AFC title game the first time. Their window is just starting to open. Edited 20 hours ago by Walking Tall Quote

Just a feeling… Justin Fields had 5 yards passing in the first half Sunday. They only won because of two big plays on special teams returning a KO and punt for TDs otherwise they are 1-8. I think the Pats win by at least 2 maybe 3 scores on Thursday night. On the injury front Garrett Wilson is out at least 3 weeks. He got hurt in the game vs the Browns. NE has had an amazing glow-up and the Jets have stunk, but sometimes funny things happen, like in Miami on Sunday. On the other hand, Vrabel is a better coach than McDermott, so this is probably wishful thinking. 1 Quote

Then heard they were going to show their true colors against Cleveland who have/had one of the best defenses in the league. Theyre 6-0 since all this “fairytale” talk about them started. They are a good team. It sucks to admit it but it’s true. 2 Quote
bills6969 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago We cannot let a Pats vs Chiefs AFCCG happen this year. Quote
Process Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago If the AFC ends up with 1. Patriots 2. Colts or vice versa That's pretty much dream scenario for a 7 seed. You cannot ask for better. Quote
