The Bengals are targeting Burrow's first game back being against the Bills.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Coming back maybe with a bit of rust. But let's face it, Flacco threw for 470 yards last week. No matter who the QB is, with those WRs, they will move the ball.

But their defense is still horrible.

They're going to drop a couple games outside buffalo & Baltimore.

Don't get me wrong, they're off to a fast start, I think maye will be good but the jury is still out and there's going to be a correction. There always is ...

Buffalo is the stronger team. Buffalo is battle tested to say the least. The pats are not

Nothing is guaranteed obviously but that's my opinion.

I'll say this, buffalo is getting healthier vs Tampa. But if we lose vs Tampa then I'll be less confident.

Right now Miami feels like a classic let down spot.

Obviously I could be wrong and I understand your pessimism

Off to a fast start? They've already played 11 out of 17 games and have won 8 in a row. This isn't being 2-0 in September

And buffalo has 3 losses. Maye is in year 2.

The season doesn't really start until Thanksgiving. Say what you want about bellicheat, but he's right about that.

Buffalo is the stronger team built for December and January.

It will be fascinating because Bengals fans are sold on Flacco, and they will probably be out of it by then due to their defense. Shouldn't rush Burrow.  There's a narrative now more than ever that Burrow is a product of his receivers.

I think it's more than a narrative. I mean Joe is a good player. But he wasn't anything in college until he had Justin Jefferson and Chase to throw to. And he's been fortunate enough to have at least 2 top level WRs almost his entire NFL career. Flacco and even Browning in his first stint filling in did well.

I'm not giving it up yet.

I think they're certainly favored right now.  But we have a history of going on late season runs.  I can see the Bengals or Ravens beating them (or both), us beating them, and maybe Miami has a good one in them to end the season.

They could lose 2-3 more.  Of course, we'd have to basically run the table - maybe 1 loss.

sure. Anything can happen. I just don’t think it will this year.

IMO the Miami game wasn't a let down spot.  This Bills team is more like the 2-3 record in the last 5 games than the 4-0 team at the beginning of the season.

The lack of turnovers from the defense has brought this offense back to earth.

The Bills have the worst average starting position in the league. With the way this offense is built now having long fields has hurt them.

As someone posted in another thread, I don't get why they built an offense that chews clock and needs 10-12 plays to get down the field.
