I appreciate this response.  The fact is, we’ve had a few let down losses this year.  I feel as if we are like the Sabres back in the day with Hasek.  Best goaltender in the league, HOF’er and we were never able to surround him with the talent to win it all.  

 

I’m very pessimistic we win a SB with current leadership. I do hope Josh Allen wins a SB with or without the Bills, because he deserves one.

I think they have tried, but the Bills scouts are average at best and Beane is proving to be somewhat average at best as well.  

 

They did give Josh a great o-line (recently) as well as Cook, Diggs, Kincaid and other WR’s they thought would be good (but were terrible).  

 

Having said all this, i would have given the kings ransom for Waddle or another stud WR.  

 

In the end, in the large picture, I think we are on the same page - we are failing a once in a lifetime franchise QB.

 

Time for a new GM and HC.

They're never, EVER going to do that. Beane said early on his model was draft develop and retain. Problem is, they don't draft well, they're not great at developing and they retain the wrong guys

What has shown you that we are the #1 or #2 team in the league this year?
The Pats are minutes away from being 9-2. Thats 3 games ahead of us. Who is beating them besides maybe the Ravens or Bills on their schedule, assuming the Bills win every single game left on our schedule? Even then, they still have a tiebreaker from common opponents. In looking at both of our schedules, where are you objectively seeing us finish 1 game ahead of them.

Because buffalo has the better QB, oline and pass rush. Kincaid will be healthy too

Ok. We aren't going to boatrace them. For sake of argument, lets say we boatrace them. Objectively look at both schedules and tell me how the Bills (currently 3 games behind with 2 games in hand) finish 1 game ahead of the Pats.  Its going to take more than just beating them. We have to finish in front of them to win the division.

I'm not giving it up yet.

 

I think they're certainly favored right now.  But we have a history of going on late season runs.  I can see the Bengals or Ravens beating them (or both), us beating them, and maybe Miami has a good one in them to end the season.

 

They could lose 2-3 more.  Of course, we'd have to basically run the table - maybe 1 loss.

They're going to drop a couple games outside buffalo & Baltimore. 

 

Don't get me wrong, they're off to a fast start, I think maye will be good but the jury is still out and there's going to be a correction. There always is ...

 

Buffalo is the stronger team. Buffalo is battle tested to say the least. The pats are not

 

Nothing is guaranteed obviously but that's my opinion. 

 

 

 

I'll say this, buffalo is getting healthier vs Tampa. But if we lose vs Tampa then I'll be less confident. 

 

Right now Miami feels like a classic let down spot.

IMO the MVP right now is Stafford, not Mahe.

 

And NE is not "light years better" then the Bills.

Seems pretty straightforward. If the Bills win out they will win the division, if they drop a game they won't.  Pats will likely drop at least one game outside of ours. Jets are their easiest matchup the rest of the year, so that's kind of 2 freebies.
