That division is awful and they have a ton of injuries. This is one they'll just want to get past and never really think of again. This is going to be a steamroller of angry Bills players and coaches tired of being written off and criticized, miserable weather, Bills badly needing a W and the Bucs more so "meh" in terms of the effect on their season, and the biggest equalizer in sports: the NFL narrative buster effect. I've often thought that football especially is such a mental game and these players are all the best of the best, even on so-so teams and even the backups. What makes great teams and players great is consistent focus and execution. That's where the narrative buster effect comes in. Player A has been distracted, not totally into it, maybe not always giving his all. He hears it week after week until it hits a boiling point: Player A needs to be benched. He's a bust! So he locks in. He's already one of the most physically gifted athletes on the planet, or he would not be in the NFL. But now pride kicks in and he goes 100% into the game prep. As a result, he has a great game. Narrative busted, and everyone is so shocked. Same thing with teams overall. Fire the coach! OC is terrible! Defense can't stop the run! They're having a fire sale! It's going to be a cakewalk! And a 6-2 perennial contender gets dominated and blown out by a 2-7 team that just fired its GM and traded one of its best players. It's because not everyone is focused 100% all the time. When they are, LOOK OUT. Really enjoyed this post. Hope you are correct 2 1 Quote

I think they'll rest Taron and Cam. Ingram is the starting nickel. So the secondary is Benford Hairston Ingram Poyer Bishop White Jackson Franklin Hancock Inactives Moore Kincaid Lundt Mathis Codrington Taron Cam 6 wrs active Palmer Big game Gabe Shakir ///// Coleman Samuel Shavers Pr - Shakir Kr - Samuel/ Davis 1 2 Quote

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I hope that everyone who's close to ready plays this week. No more sitting guys out if they can play. Send a message that this game and opponent is important unlike last week. 1 Quote

sven233 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Obviously, we don't know how long they are projecting the Kincaid and Mathis injuries are going to be for. But if they need a few weeks, IR isn't out of the question for either one which will open up some roster spots. As of now, though, they are still on the active roster and we have 1 spot available. You would have to think Sanders is the logical choice to fill that vacant spot. With Mathis going down, and even with him healthy, we need more help at DT so Sanders makes a lot of sense to activate if he's ready to go. If one or both of Kincaid and Mathis go to IR, I would expect Davis to be signed to the 53 providing he is truly healthy. The other option is to release Codrington to open up a spot. I think this is likely to happen as soon as Hardman is up to speed a bit on the special teams side of things and has enough on offense to run in a couple of packages. Who knows.....that could happen this week. But signing Davis to the 53 prevents them from having to waste 2 call ups on WRs. This way, you could make Hardman and Fox your call ups if Benford is ready to roll. But with our nickle guys still banged up, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jackson elevated even if he isn't activated. Regardless, there should be a lot of roster gymnastics over the next 24 hours. 1 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago If buffalo wins this game comfortably, what will you guys think? Back on track? AFC championship 🏆 appearance at min Still skeptical? Iffy? Still anticipating missing the playoffs or early wildcard exit? Fire everyone? Quote

quincy Posted just now Posted just now It will be interesting to see the roster movements for this game. I personally want to see Davis, Hardman and Morgan Fox play against Tampa Bay but then we would have 8 wide receivers which creates a roster imbalance and for this to happen one of those three (at minimum) would have to be on the 53. Coleman Palmer Shakir Davis Hardman and a choice of Moore/Samuel/Shavers for the final WR spot - I would choose Moore myself. Samuel has been a bad investment and won't be here next year, Shavers should be able to go back to the PS if needed as a number crunch scenario but if blocking and ST is the priority he will be safe. Buffalo cannot have Shakir being a PR any further this season. Hardman has got to take over the KR/PR role in my opinion because we aren't good in that area at all. Longest non-Codrington KR is 32 yards and the for PR it is 11 yards - we have to do better, we can seemingly never make the first tackler miss on returns! Interesting to see how it all plays out this Sunday. Quote
