Unless the defense starts getting more timely turnovers and their average starting field position improves from the worst in the league, I think this team will struggle to win games. 1 minute ago, dcinmuncie said: with all the 'sky is falling' narrative, admittedly much of it from myself i can't help but having the feeling that with the fans writing them off, the media writing them off that they are about to go on a huge run and win it all. One thing i've learned in watching football since 1990 is nothing is ever as it seems As frustrating as the season has been they are built to win in January Great all world quarterback in the beginning of his prime Excellent offensive line Young players at key positions like wide receiver and corner Organic pass rush that is really good All that being said they looked like complete ass versus the dolphins in an obvious let down spot and they have to beat Tampa Edited 2 hours ago by Kelly to Allen Quote

Was unsure about Shakir. Glad to hear he will probably play. maybe with a TE out and the Palmer playing, they might even call up Gabe… we might see some new set formations come out and a better passing plan. 2 Quote

With Palmer returning, and potential of Gabe being elevated. Quote

Don't like that Taron was downgrade from Full yesterday to Limited today and that Cam Lewis is still limited and questionable. Would be disastrous to have both nickel players out. 1 Quote

But zero designations have been released yet, except Mathis/Kincaid being out. So not sure where youre getting questionable tags already - unless youre guessing too. Quote

Is it better to go 4-4 the rest of the season and get a new coach and gm next year? If they go 4-4 and end 10-7 they still may sneak in as a wildcard. Even if they don't, there is almost zero chance Pegula fires either of them. Even at 9-8, they don't get fired. Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Anyone who think Pegula will get rid of Beane or McD only needs to look at the worst run franchise in the history of US sports....your Buffalo Sabres. The fact that Adams still has a job is the most pathetic storyline of that decrepit franchise. 1 Quote
Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Man, we got healthy pretty quick. All in all, the worst of it is Hoecht - we barely got to see him, but man did he make a difference. Obviously, losing Oliver also hurts, but I feel some confidence that he is back for the playoffs. No excuses this weekend. Coming off a brutal loss, at home, pretty healthy - gotta hope that we can show the world we're still in the mix for the AFCE and 1 seed. Quote

Of all the fanbases in the country, New England (or at least Massachusetts) most deserves decades of misery. Quite apart from the obnoxiousness that seems baked in, it's just not right that the Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox are perpetually good. Truth be told, I became a Sox fan when I moved here, which was in the midst of the 86 years of championship wilderness that franchise endured. It was incredibly exciting when they won in 2004. I’d love to experience that again with the Bills (and Sabres). 3 Quote
