Checked out?

I'm not that spoiled yet.  I hope I never get to that point. We're still competing for the division, we're still a playoff contender, we could still end up w/ the 1 seed, etc.

I endured the whole drought.  I'm going to enjoy every moment of every season we have with Allen.

Obviously not that bad, but there are moments.

Will we see more snaps for Moore or Samuel this week or more of the same?

Bills 1st drive Sunday.   Run up the middle with cook for no gain.   Bubble screen to Shakir on 2nd down for 1 yard gain.  15 yard back shoulder sideline throw to a flailing Keon on 3rd down, followed by a punt.

almost certainly

but i wouldn't expect the run/pass ratio to be meaningfully adjusted

in fact if cook is feeling better we should probably run it more

as the Bucs are a legitimate playoff team, I suspect that we will show up and take them seriously. They are as badly bit by the injury bug as we are.

Waiting for another receiver other than Shakir to establish himself as a good hands guy who Josh can trust. My money is on Elijah Moore.

Shakir had an injury "pop up" during the Miami game?

We're breaking a league record for "pop up" injuries this year.  I hope all of this early stuff means we end up healthier by the time the playoffs come around....

We scored a TD on like every single first drive of the season until Miami.

I don’t understand how we all watch the same game but can’t see what the actual problem is. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not the offense

Other than James Cook or Shakir breaking something huge, the Bills are one of the least explosive teams out there.  That lends itself to lots of running, short passes, 10-12 play drives that have to be fairly PERFECT in order to score TDs.  It also leads to close games entering the 4th Qtr where one error can cost you the game.  It's a tough way to survive week to week.  We are seeing the turnovers go against us at key moments and with a grind it out team like Buffalo that's a killer.

Except they led the NFL before last week in explosive plays with 44.

By the eye test I'm not seeing it.  Maybe they racked up a bundle of them in 3 of their 9 games, I dunno.   In any event, if no Kincaid that hurts even more since he's good for a few chunk plays in a game..  He's become an injury prone player.

Explosive plays are defined as any pass play over 20 yards or run play over 10 yards.

They have multiple of those every game.

correct.  A bunch of them occurred late in the Baltimore comeback game and most of them are James Cooks run of 10 or more yards.
