It’s surreal right now living in giants fans land haha feels like they’re organizing a parade to celebrate the guy finally being gone and our fans are tripping over themselves racing to make him head coach 😂 he’s honestly terrible Really? Belichick sucked in CLE. Marv sucked in KC, too. I’m not saying that Daboll or anyone else is the next BB. I am, however, making the point that people can and do learn from failure. Just now, boyst said: what?! i wanna see that...??? i think he will get another shot at being an OC and continue to do well at the least, maybe even cusp of great. there are no really great oc's in the nfl right now. they're all HC's. I heard it wasn’t as frosty as it’s been. Maybe around the time of Josh’s wedding. But who knows. McD might see him as a threat now and this might have to be driven by Josh. Quote

Freak-O Posted Monday at 08:11 PM Posted Monday at 08:11 PM Football was more fun with Daboll than Brady. 2 1 Quote
pigpen65 Posted Monday at 08:27 PM Posted Monday at 08:27 PM Took long enough. He's definitely not head coach material. And there were plenty of times where he didn't even look like coordinator material. Schoen's gotta be following soon. Quote

Everyone feel free... McDermott and Daboll both get fired today, who is the first to get a HC gig? Gotta be mcdermott right? Daboll will get an OC gig anywhere. I'm not sure McDermott would get many chances at even a college DC, and that's not a put-down 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted Monday at 08:33 PM Posted Monday at 08:33 PM I have my issues with Daboll. I think we are a run first time right now and I'm ok with that. But the man could scheme receivers open. Quote
Livinginthepast Posted Monday at 08:33 PM Posted Monday at 08:33 PM At the very least I hope this puts some pressure on Brady to coach for his job. Yesterday was abysmal. Quote

Daboll will have his pick of OC jobs, as will Mike McDaniel. Both will get another shot at HC in a few years, after they rehab their reputations. They don't call it a coaching carousel for nothing. 2 1 Quote

He could say, “no, Joe Brady is our OC and I trust that he’ll get things figured out.” Or he could say “I don’t really want to get into that right now” or “no I haven’t thought about that yet.” if he says something closer to the latter I think there’s a chance Daboll returns. Hopefully someone words their question intentionally He could say "with respect to Brian, I'm focused on the guys in the room" or something like that. You know it's going to be asked, and PR is working on an answer. Quote

Allen became a better player in the nfl than he was in the mountains west. He got the same OC for 4 years, which never happens. Allen wasn’t close to this player his first 2 years. Daboll took a raw talent and helped mold him into a MVP. He deserves credit for that. The rest of his resume is meh. Did Daboll take Josh under his wing and make him improve his backdrops and throwing motion or did Allen hire Carson Palmer? Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted Monday at 08:38 PM Posted Monday at 08:38 PM (edited) I might be in the minority, but I still believe that Dabs has been and will continue to be a career mediocrity everywhere he goes. Josh made Dabs. Dabs didn’t make Josh. Edited Monday at 08:57 PM by AlCowlingsTaxiService 1 Quote

That might be something the pegulas do, because belichick would work cheap. I still don’t see them moving in from McSchottenheimer unless Josh puts his foot down. Have you noticed the awesome success Belichick is having at UNC? Quote

Also, one big criticism of Daboll was that he didn't run it enough. If we can get him here as an sr. offensive guy for this year. Look at what he did with Foster, Brown, and Beasley. I think he’d be able to make it work 2 1 Quote
