No Bills gear worn, and actually did not watch the game, even though I was home and could have. Kept it on in the other room, so I could hear it, but never went in and watched.

Because of bad weather, our neighborhood moved trick or treating to last night [halftime - end of Q3].  Got to see all the kids in the neighborhood and watch the game, everyone had a great time!

Right after the 1st series, I lit this candle and poured a glass of brandy.

I didn't check the score, albeit an inadvertent glance at the overall league report during the first quarter.  Based on previous experience, a second check would have been DOOM. 🙁

My buddy nailed an 8 point buck on Saturday.

Sunday we ate a bunch of him while watching the game!

Truly a "woods to table" experience.

Fresh meat = Mahomes getting pulverized.

For the first time since we went to the Ravens game, the wife and I wore our Bills gear. Seems to be good luck for Josh Allen.

My wife once nailed a buck with a brown Honda.

No fresh meat, Honda was pulverized.

 

As to my contribution, I made adjustments to my routine.

I did not wear my Bills hat all week and wore my standing Buffalo t-shirt watching the game, which started wearing last week.

My wife rants during the game, I tolerate it. Yesterday I wasn’t in the mood. She started up about Mahomes, Kelce and the refs as soon as the Chiefs went on offense. I told her, rather tersely, I don’t want to hear her rant all game about them. She sat in silence.

I screwed up my rituals on the days of both our losses.

Yesterday, however, I did everything right to appease the gods.  I wore my Bills socks, Zubaz sweatpants, and #17 jersey.  My pretty Filipina wife, who knows virtually nothing about football, wore Bills shorts and a Bills shirt.  My husky wore a Bills bandana.  

 

At kickoff, I was sitting in my favorite chair, eating Buffalo wings.

 

Today, to give thanks, I'm wearing a Bills shirt as I'm about to leave the house for a VA appointment.

Did I watch the first quarter? Not fully.
