🤯🫨🫣

I’m frazzled, sapped & drained and we aren’t even at the midseason point yet! Yes, we’re 5-2, leading the League in points scored and thrilled with last week’s ‘Coming to Jesus’ moment with our Defense FINALLY performing like an NFL playoff team should be expected to -and laid a 3 quarter 40 Burger on the road! But crippling injuries continue while JA17 continues head scratching plays that lead to punts. Ed Oliver -who is playing at a Pro Bowl level is now out and maybe for the season..🤦‍♂️ We refurbished the D last week very well then spent the week trying to fix the O. While Josh struggled a bit, facing single high safety 75% of the time, the game will be remembered for the day James Cook became a true Superstar. 218 yards rushing and 2 TDs! More incredible, he didn’t catch a single pass and only had 2 plays in the 4th quarter!

It may be too soon to say, but there’s a real chance our Defense can become great quickly! All-22 showed Bishop was where he was supposed to be all game.
Deone Walker, Larry Ogunjobi, Hoeght & Max are playing eye-opening football. But Shaq Thompson came up lame recently so we may see Dorian Williams. Add to this, Milano & Bernard were full go in practice this week. We know Matt IS a stud when not injured! Just a thought, but did McD hold these 2 out last week so KC can’t see what we’ll look like with our starting LBs playing with our revamped DL?? 🤔 These guys are what our DEs have needed and it showed last week! In Oliver’s absence, it looks like Deone Walker will take his reps -and that’s NOT a bad thing! The kid is playing exceptionally!

Still nothing on the trade front with the deadline being Tuesday at 4pm. We have 2 major needs now at WR & DT. Meantime,

Josh is getting sacked an average of 2 times a game! YES! Josh Allen, the most electrifying escape artist in League history has been on his keister twice a game!🫨 Is it play calling, weak Receiver corps, Josh or a combination of all of all 3? Beane better be gulping 5 hr Energy Drink 5X a day if our dream can come true this season. Whether Player for player, restructure a current contract or 2, draft picks -whatever it takes. Fair or not, he’s singularly responsible for the dearth at wideout -especially given Coleman’s disappointing start.

For KC, whom we play like they’re in our Division, they are beginning to get their wheels under them and not a moment to soon. They find themselves in 3rd place in the AFC West but now Mahomes has re-found his touch and scorching teams with his scrambles. Pacheco is out today so the running duty falls to Worthy. They still have great talent on both sides of the ball! Rashee Rice, Worthy, Hollywood Brown, Karloftis, Jones & Kelsey are household names with SB cred. It isn’t going to get any easier either way -for BOTH teams.

This is a top level Must See matchup for the League and has been this decade. No need for outside motivation, these games sell themselves. So strap up, smear your eye black and sniff whatever gets you ready! It’s a bona fide AFC WAR!

We GOT this!

GO BILLS!

Joe Marino chimes in

Huge game- no matter how the Bills try and downplay it.

its a must win game, and a statement game.

Bills already lost to NE at home.  Defend our turf!

Bills D shows up huge today imo.  Hoecht and Deone give me hope!

Bills O and Joe Brady make me nervous.  We need Josh to play like it’s the 4th quarter against the Ravens.  We need to run Cook down all game.  Let’s see lots of play action,  12 and 13 personal, and pass out of 12 and 13 personal.  Joe- that’s how you get your average at best WRs to make plays- because they are not going to win against man to man. No simple minded generic game plans Joe.  Step up and scheme WRs open like it’s your job, which it is.

GO BILLS!

Hitting the road in the next 30 minutes to head up for the game. Should be a perfect day for tailgating. It’s the wife’s birthday so hopefully the Bills can give her a nice present with a big W! Go Bills!

You can tell the Bills think about the Chiefs all year round. I think they have a Chiefs specific playbook they’ll tap into today to make sure the offense is humming and converting TD’s instead of FG’s!

I think the Bills pull out a win in a tight back-and-forth game!
