Will we see Hairston "shadowing" Worthy on Sunday??

I think he just covers who's in front of him. If Worthy is on the outside maybe Benford will get help.

 

As of now he's a gadget guy. I don't think he's established himself as someone you have to provide consistent safety help for. I would account for his presence more if he's in the backfield or in motion.

Well he’s had 12 targets for 10 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs in 2 games against Buffalo, so somebody should probably keep an eye on him just in case.

Hollywood doesnt seem to produce in games I watch. Juju is probably 4th on the pecking order with Kelce, Rice and Worthy the top 3.

Worthy is move of a screen/short pass guy tbh. Thornton is the guy they send on deep routes. I think activating Dane Jackson is a good move.

I think that's the Bills endgame for the corner position if everybody stays healthy.

And Hairston had 27 defensive snaps last week, not 12.

As he gets healthier, I'd guess that number will probably go up gradually over the next few weeks until he's cemented as the #2 corner and Tre is working as the dimeback.

 

So, I’m curious, and maybe some of you who have better knowledge about the game than I do can answer, if we get Hairston as the #1 or #2 CB, why wouldn’t we move Tre to a safety role? Kinda like we did with Troy Vincent when he came to Buffalo. I mean isn’t that where good to great CB go to end their careers and wasn’t Tre pretty damn good as a zone CB, or at least better than a man CB?

If Maxwell plays like I think and Benford bounces back like he should that would be ideal with Tre as the dime

Safeties need to be strong tacklers, something Tre has never been. You would never see him down in the box and realistically would only ever want him playing single high. McD likes his safeties role interchangeable.

He occasionally does.. not throughout games just periodically sometimes 

 

Tre Whites peak he may be with spotlighting 35% of the time 

 

 Benford did it occasionally last year but not near 35%.. that's also a tell that you're in pure man coverage or man match typically

What makes you say that, Hairston played a lot of zone in college.  I guess you think this should happen because he has speed.  All the chiefs wrs have speed.
