Meyers does nothing to alleviate the Bills offense passing game root problem.   We would have to release a WR- Shakir or Palmer- no way.  Samuel is a much more useful player(when healthy).  Bills FO is continuing trying to prove that Keon is a quality outside WR. Moore is faster than Meyers.  Shavers blocks more.  Meyers would cost a draft pick, for a half season rental.  The Bills don’t need to add more mediocrity to the WR room

I'm failing to see why you think it would have to be Shakir or Palmer that would have to be released. That's not even *remotely* the case. It would be one of Shavers or Moore. We have options to move money around with and why would we move on from one of our Top WR's instead of one of the bottom 3 guys?

Meyers isn't mediocre compared to a Tyrell Shavers (who is one of 3 WR's to be active every game this season and has gone without a single catch in 5 of them), Elijah Moore (who's stat line for the year is 5 catches for 78 yards), and Curtis Samuel (who's been active for just 3 games and has a stat line of 3 catches for 35 yards and 1 TD).

Meyers is coming off a 1000+ yard season and his lowest yardage output since 2021 is 804 yards. Meanwhile, the grand some total *combined* for HALF of our WR core over 7 games this season is 10 catches for 164 yards and 1 TD. And that's not even taking into account what we're getting out of Keon Coleman or Joshua Palmer's injury.

How you can say that Meyers wouldn't be an upgrade over what we're getting there is mind bogglingly insane to me. I can understand wanting more than Meyers. But if the option is giving up a 4th Round Pick for him or staying the course, with what we have - it's again, absolutely insane to me to not make a move. You're greatly undervaluing Meyers and greatly overvaluing guys like Shavers and Moore.

Man, if T’Vondre Sweat and Deonte Walker were on the field at the same time, no running game would scare me, including Baltimore’s. I’d try to pitch them a 3rd in 2026 and maybe a conditional 2027.

Gotta wonder why'd they'd be willing to move him so soon. Unless again they got a call to see if he was moveable and press treating it more like they actively taking calls to move him.

Is Meyers better than Shavers? Yes in the same vein Zachariah Charbonnet is better than Ray Davis. Yet are we a better team if have a better backup RB? On paper yes, yet on the field maybe not. I mean to me Elijah Moore is better than Mack Hollins yet who's performed better?

I wanted Sweat in the draft. Wonder what the asking price for him is?

I think comparing Meyers v. Shavers to Charbonnet v. Davis is wildly inaccurate.

Shavers is not an NFL WR. Period. He's a guy who looks pretty good against Practice Squad CB's and players who will end up on the street during the Pre-Season, yet completely useless as a pass catcher against actual competent NFL CB's.

Meyers is a low to mid grade #1, high end #2 WR. With the stats and volume to show for it over the past 5 seasons.

That's a *much* larger discrepancy than Charbonnet v. Davis.

‘Tis true.  I’ve been scouring the transactions looking for Shaheed to Buffalo
