@nedboy7 just wondering if you have any thoughts on what a reasonable health plan might look like for your family of two?  Monthly costs..,ded etc?  You indicated about $2,300 this year, with a 30% increase in 2026.   What’s fair given your income, health etc?

Good day to go grocery shopping :) the lines will be shorter

Nah, Saturdays are always too busy at the grocery stores.

A judge just stepped in, they must use emergency funds for SNAP

So dumb. Solves nothing, and they’re right back at square one when it runs out. But hey, you can always get a pet liberal judge to do what you want in the northeast.

Taxpayer money can’t support everything for everyone. Nor should it. Of course , you probably think shoplifting less than $1k is fine, and misdemeanors shouldn’t be prosecuted.

OMG ! You mean the White House has luxury appointments? All while Obamacare continues to drive up Healthcare costs at unsustainable rates? You’d almost think the program was a predictable failure !

nope.  and no one has said that it should.  there's that straw man you magas are so fond of.

by most measures, we are the wealthiest county in the history of the world.  And yet we have 10's of millions of hungry children and uninsured people, one serious illness away from homelessness and bankruptcy..  And it's getting worse by the day. Most other 1st world countries do much better.  and your solution is to punt....

so let's fix it...or choose the better alternative offered by maga...oh, wait.

"In the U.S., about 8% of the population, or approximately 26 million people, were uninsured in 2023. The uninsured rate has decreased significantly since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, which aimed to expand coverage options and reduce the number of uninsured individuals."  from kff

multiple sources state that 1 in 5 children are food insecure.  That's roughly 10 mil.  So what's your argument?  together that's 10's of millions.  Not enough to thaw your cold heart?

less importantly, you still don't understand what the straw man fallacy is.  Even had I actually misstated the number (I didn't) that would not be a straw man.  It would be a false premise.

Your statement that tens of millions of children are hungry is a false premise. Go back to your idiotic “does truth exist” thread and ask yourself why you are engaging in such.

Anus Man strikes again.  Antifa?  Not a hoax.  Twenty one million violent criminals?  A precise number.  Cats and dogs, eaten by the pound?  Yessir.  All gobbled up.  But hungry kids?  Way overcounted.  Gotta be miserly there.

I bet St. Peter loves all of this MAGA business about keeping the rich healthy, and the sick poor and hungry.  Hoax.

Great.  For now you can differentiate 2 logical fallacies. Congrats.

perhaps reading comprehension can be improved as well:

"10's of millions of hungry children and uninsured people"

The newish phrase, food insecure, does not in any way correlate to “tens of millions of hungry children”. You should read up on it.

Yeah, and they are mostly obese...

I'm sure another 10,000,000 illegals will help the cause...

And God forbid we attempt to bring any industry back...

You're brain dead...

The handouts don’t “train” anyone anything. Thats a people thing. They train each other. People need to take some personal responsibility
