Yeah I mean there's two ways to play..

 

You can take the pitcher deeper or just lock into one part of the zone and if the ball comes through that you're swinging for the fences 

 

But Yamamoto throw so many strikes I think you want to wait for the right pitch not just swing at any strike 

 

Even in the I think 9th vlad had a 3-0 count , and did hammer change up up in the zone, but for an out

 

If he stayed patient he probably could have got a better pitch or a walk
