Shaheed gave up an INT that felt more like a fumble in the way it happened. Olave may have fumbled too (???), dont quote me. It was 4 TO's in a half, felt like the whole team had one . It was a flurry of TO's so I zoned out. Unsure if thats uncommon for Shaheed. Im still on board, maybe someone knowqs better than me Quote

Brady can't even get Curtis Samuel involved. He may not be an elite WR but he at least has a record of being a solid player. I don't think pushing the ball down field is something Brady wants to do unless we absolutely have to. Crediting any blame to Brady for Samuel is bonkers. At least Percy Harvin consistently had the same issue. Samuel is f**** hurt with a different issue every week. Its crazy. I'll say it, hes soft as baby s*** 2 Quote

After checking the box score, yes. It was just the 2. That team reminds me of Houston in some ways. Not as great a defense but solid nonetheless. 3 turnovers, one returned for 6 and the Bucs were only up 7-3 @ the half. Offense needs to figure it out in the QB department and get them a new RT. Center is an issue but that McCoy guy returns from injury. They have plenty pieces to be successful, hence why I think they’ll be reluctant to trade Olave. Shaheed is probably the guy they move. Wild be if I was running the GM role. Quote

Yeah, I'm definitely in the "just do SOMETHING" camp at WR at the moment. I really don't care about the cost. Just somebody or a couple some bodies that can create separation. Doesn't even have to be a big name...raid practice squads, look at the FA market, overpay for somebody. Quote

Maybe slightly on the high end in terms of percentage, but it's in the range of normal. Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted Wednesday at 01:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:14 PM (edited) Two wide receiver trades that I believe haven't been mentioned in this forum (or barely been mentioned) that lie somewhere between plausible and fantasy: Chargers 2023 1st rounder Quentin Johnston started the season on a trajectory to have his best year ever with 4 TDs and at least 79 yards in each of the first 4 games. In the 2 games since he's had a total of 70 yards and 1 TD. More significantly, even though he's healthy his snap count in week 8 was his lowest of the season and he was outsnapped for the first time by this year's 2nd rounder, Tre Harris who's also a big fast deep threat. Would the Chargers trade Johnston in conference? The Cowboys have had no contract talks with George Pickens since sending a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to Pittsburgh for him. They're paying Pickens only $3.656 million this season and are already paying CeeDee Lamb the third highest contract for WRs in the NFL. Would the 3-4-1 Cowboys consider trading him for a big haul of draft picks rather than see him possibly depart in free agency? Edited Wednesday at 01:14 PM by Sierra Foothills Quote

I don’t think anyone is trading such a good asset for Jeudy that they would make that move. Edited Wednesday at 02:00 PM by LEBills 2 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted Wednesday at 03:35 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:35 PM (edited) Crickets .......Get ready for Gabe is coming back in a couple weeks! I was hoping we could pull someone in before the Chiefs game. Either we're being told no or Beane thinks the cost is wrong. Which in his case, he could against trading value picks for a receiver. He thinks you can put anyone at WR. Edited 14 hours ago by D. L. Hot-Flamethrower 1 Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Olave offers this team what it currently lacks at WR, not so sure Meyers does. 5 Quote

Even if the didn't want Olave, they would have called. Two reasons. One, Beane has said himself, there are guys pretty much assigned to other teams that have frequent conversations. They use guys that have ties to other guys on other teams. This could be scout to scout, Assistant GM to scout but is way less frequently GM to GM. Second, if the Bills are in the WR market, Beane likes to call on everyone to find what the market should be. It's like when you buy a house. You may go look at a house you aren't as interested in to see what the comps in the area are. 1 1 Quote

Waddle, Mooney, Pickens, MHJ, are the only acceptable not realistic options that can move the needle for this offense. We could have drafted Pickens instead of Elam. Which many here were calling for.
