Yes, the fan whiteout is something a WNBA franchise would do, and we were rightfully punished for it.

"White Out" is awful knowing that stadium was built on Native burial grounds where they only moved the white people's cemetery back in 1973.

 

I sensed this was coming.  Native bones under the 50 yard line didn't like it.

 

WHY didn't they consult me first!  The insensitivity would have been stated.

Even though I know it’s a player / crowd favorite and how it came to be a thing, I personally still don’t know this song or who sings it. Not asking for info, just saying it doesn’t feel like a song that gets me pumped or one I love sharing in the stands with others. Totally cool with others who do like it though.

That’s their role.  If they win a Super Bowl they lose that and the league will be stuck with just another ordinary franchise.  Us folks here in western NY don’t have as much cash to spend on NFL products.

How about we stop playing it anyway, due to the fact it’s not a positive song to begin with?! Do ppl not realize it’s a song about being freaking cheated on?!? Just because it’s got a poppy beat, doesn’t mean it’s a cheery song, nor is it a football anthem.  it’s actually a depressing song lyrically.
