Did the Bills win, or di the Ravens lose?

It has been interesting to see how many reactions to the game are focusing on how the Ravens managed to lose the game.  Not a lot of effort is given to crediting the Bills for their comeback.  Does it seem so to you?

Yeah. Talking heads not giving us MUCH credit. There is SOME, but not a lot.

 

Honestly, let's move on. We took Ravens 2 best shots (playoffs and last night) and we're the ones standing victorious at the end.

It was a happy medium.

 

The Ravens called weird plays and didn't execute them well on their last 3 possessions. This opened the door for the Bills.

 

Josh Allen kicked open that door and shat all over their hopes with a big goofy smile on his face.

As Bill Belichick says, games in the NFL are lost more than they're won.

 

It's that team that makes one more mistake, one more bad decision, one bad bounce, that lets the game slip away. It's the team that simply does their job and nothing else who comes away with the victory.

 

So in this case, I get the coverage talking about the Ravens losing/blowing the game. I mean, they had it in hand and a 0.9% win chance, and then made a series of bad decisions and bad plays to hand us the game.

 

I'm not offended because at the end of the day, we're still 1-0 and on top of the Division and Conference.

Anytime an improbable comeback happens the team letting up the lead has to make some mistakes.

Big comebacks are always a combination of both. But full credit to the Bills for keeping themselves mentally in the game and putting pressure on the Ravens.

McDermott never gets too high never gets too low that is actually the best temperament for a coach ... The team didn't get down 

 

Josh did what he does..  showed why he's the best and why it's a 60-minute game

I more agree with Orlovsky, Schefter, and Crew who said this morning "If the Bills and Ravens play 10 times, it's most likely a 5-5 split"

 

The two best teams in the AFC.

I said it before in another thread... 25 other teams in this league woulda packed it in and played not to get hurt...   would I have preferred a definitive win, or a character demonstration like that...  I mean win all you want, but that level of character is a nice little thing to have come playoff time...

Did the Chiefs win 13 seconds?  Or did the Bills lose it?

Did the Giants win Super Bowl XXV/Wide Right?  Or did the Bills lose it?

 

I've been watching this sport long enough to know it doesn't matter.

We've been down this road too much to worry about what sport analysts think about our team.  All that matters is who is hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in February.  And if it takes our opponent "losing" for it to happen, then so be it.

Its interesting, I feel like what they are saying about us winning this game is a lot like what the say about the Chiefs when they do the same thing.. Hmmmm???

All they talk about is bad coaching, playcalling etc...some of these guys just can't deal with the fact Josh Allen is flat out better. How many times does this have to happen before they realize it.
