Cleveland, Tampa Bay and Baltimore hurt a lot of people this week. One-person, Mark_LBC, had the best picks with 11 correct. Sound Of Hobe continues to be  #1, with a score of 141. Top 10 has opened up more, with an 7 point spread from 1 to 10.

And we're down to two, Special K and Tom's Terrific Pick Set. Can either one manage to make it just 4 more weeks? 

Six people knocked out this week, due to Cleveland, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia.

Tampa Bay, Cincinnati, Carolina, and Dallas hurt a lot of people this week. Two People, ncbillsgirl and Kurt's Picks, had the best picks with 13 correct. ncbillsgirl jumps into the #1 spot, with a score of 152. Top 10 has opened up more, with an 8-point spread from 1 to 10.

There are still two remaining, Special K and Tom's Terrific Pick Set. So, no one knocked out this week.

The Lions and the Rams hurt a lot of people this week. Two People, Southern McButterpants and BillsPride12, had the best picks with 13 correct. ncbillsgirl continues the #1 spot, with a score of 161. Top 10 still with a wide margin, with an 7-point spread from 1 to 10.

No one knocked out, still two remaining, Special K and Tom's Terrific Pick Set. Can they keep it up two more weeks?

What happens at that point...do they get a split or does it move into the playoffs?

I'm one of the two still in it, and I believe it goes into the playoffs if necessary.......otherwise, why have I been saving some playoff teams!!!

It's never made it this far, so who knows? Maybe let them keep picking, keeping track in this thread, and I would say since it's the playoffs, they would need to pick one AFC and one NFC team each week. Need at least one team to win to stay alive.

We could start picking two a week , or reset for the playoffs if needed. I wouldn't quite say you are saving playoff teams either, 3 of your 16 picks are eliminated from contention the rest are still in the mix. I've never made it this far in a survivor either usually someone would've lost and started a new one by now. Maybe we should look into handicapping nfl games 🤔

If both you and @Special K make it to the end of the season, this is what I propose. 

 

Playoffs

Wild Card Round - Must pick one AFC and NFC team. Both teams must win in order to stay in. 

Division Round - Must pick both an AFC and NFC team. Cannot use the same teams as the Wild Card Round. Both teams must win in order to stay in. 

Conference Championship - Must pick both an AFC and NFC team. Cannot use the same teams as the Divisional Round. Must have at least one of the two teams win to stay in.

Super Bowl - To avoid you both picking the same team, the tie breaker will be Special K can pick his team first, since based on the join date in your profiles. 

 

Picks will be made in this thread here, because I don't believe Yahoo will automatically go to the playoffs.

You don't have to save 10 playoff teams...just a few.

 

Someone on here said that it just keeps going into the Playoffs with no reset back in September, so I'm pretty sure that's what will happen.

I just checked the settings and it says "Playoffs: No"

 

So I guess it ends at the regular season......since I have been picking assuming it would continue into the playoffs, I would prefer to just keep going with the teams we each have left into the playoffs......I actually think I would lose if we did it this way, but I think this is the fairest way to continue, if necessary....

 

Maybe we could ask @SDS to change the settings to include playoffs???

I like what just jack proposed for playoffs if we make it there. Only thing id change is we should both pick it all the way even if it goes to superbowl. If we both win all the way we could be co-champs. Could be a moot point anyway if one of us bows out before then. Doesnt really matter either way just bragging rights at stake , unless there's a trophy i am not aware of ?

I see you've got Jacksonville.....I took NE because I knew you already picked them so there would be a chance one of us wins today....

 

Funny thing though...if you go to the Yahoo Survivor Pool page, they have already declared us Co-Champions before today's games are finished.....weird..... Congrats, Co-Champ, I guess!!🏆🏅🏆

The 49ers, Bears, Bengals, Packers, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Eagles hurt a lot of people this week. Six people, maybe the most this season, had the best picks with 11 correct. Those people are Pi's Polish Pigskin Picks, buffaloboyinATL, Cereality, MJS, Talley56, and EntropyRules. ncbillsgirl continues the #1 spot, with a score of 176. Top 10 back down to a 5-point spread from 1 to 10. Playoffs are available for picking.

I was long gone from my survivor pool. Interesting how it ended. There were 4 people out of 390 left. For the final week, 2 had Philadelphia, one had Cincinnati & one had Atlanta.  When the other 3 lost, the guy who picked Atlanta got the entire $3,900 pool.
