YoloinOhio Posted July 2, 2025 Author Posted July 2, 2025 So if I’m reading this correctly, it was fully investigated and he was not criminally charged. Could he still be suspended or placed on the dreaded list of Roger? 6 1 Quote

Never NEVER Give-up Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 So, 4 years ago something happened. He was neither arrested nor charged with anything. He becomes a 1st round pick in the NFL and is slated to be paid millions et voila a civil suit is filed. Money grab, All. Day. Long. 16 40 2 11 2 Quote
thronethinker Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 This is civil and not criminal and therefore is the business of the two parties only. League and team should have no involvement. 1 2 5 Quote

Not only was he not charged, the matter was investigated and dropped due to lack of evidence. The girl has posted on social media about it several times over the years but there has never been any corroborating evidence, so I don't know what she or the law firm are expecting to happen here. I would guess they're hoping for a quick settlement. 1 9 Quote

Fleezoid Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 What is so compelling about these types of lawsuits is the timing. It speaks volumes. 4 10 2 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 When we drafted him, I saw some stuff on the internet about this. If you look at Reddit, there are some screen shots from the accuser’s tik toks talking about it. Looks like it happened in march 2021, and the accuser reported it immediately to the police. But I guess nothing came of it at that time or ever. 4 2 Quote

HereComesTheReignAgain Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 Maybe I am naive, but the fact that he offered to take a polygraph test goes a long way for his credibility. 6 10 2 Quote
