Hey, now. Have ye no faith in the 2025-2026 clearance bin backup goaltender that they're apparently going to sign? I'm sure he'll look great in the second half of the season once UPL and their Charmin soft defense backstops them to a guaranteed 15th consecutive season missing the playoffs by Christmas again.

Years ago, I had a friend whose brother-in-law was selling knock off jerseys & he gave me a Trent Edwards counterfeit jersey.  It looked pretty real.  I wore it to one game & then the Bills cut Edwards. Because the name on the back of the uniform was a separate cloth sewn into the jersey, I was able to cut out the name Edwards. Then the Bills changed their uniforms & I never wore it again. I still have the jersey in a closet with other stuff I can't wear.  In 2018 I bought a real Josh Allen jersey at a local mall after the Vikings game and it's the only Bills jersey I need, and I don't have to worry about Josh getting cut.

I have a whole closet of Buffalo Bills past players jerseys.    I wear 'em all.  They are Buffalo Bills jersey after all.  And I paid good money for a lot of them so I get my money's worth.  I root for the laundry, not the players.

 

That said,I do have a Josh Allen jersey.

Ok, I owned a few knock offs in my life 

They don't do well in the rain and the colors fade pretty quick when in the sun to long  

They look good for maybe 2 seasons.  They use red dye on the numbers and looks pretty bad

I wear a counterfeit Bruce Smith Silver Anniversary SB25 jersey (but a home blue kit even though they wore white) to many home games...and after stretching it over winter layers and rambunctious tailgates for over a decade now, the seam up one side is split nearly to my armpit making the whole thing open like a smock or something. And even so, I'd rate the build quality above average. No piece of apparel should be subjected to this relentless level of BASF stress/durability-testing. It lives in a pile somewhere all offseason. Then I find and resurrect Lazarus in the dryer just in time to represent each September, with a little more bonus lateral venting each season.

 

Gifted a handful of those Super Bowl 25 Bills jerseys (with the Silver Anniversary shoulder patch) to friends and family. Well, at least once they were released from their long customs delay at the Peace Bridge lol.

I've bought several on DH Gate that are indistinguishable from the real thing, right down to the NFL logo on the chest plate by the neck and the jersey material.

I guarantee they’re not indistinguishable. Do they have creases on the shoulders and sleeves? Pretty much all of the knock offs have the crease and is one easy way to tell. 
 

I used to collect authentic and game worn jerseys until people kept selling fakes that “look exactly like the real thing, can’t tell the difference” but you can and easily.

I’ve bought a few bootleg jerseys from China with varying success.  The color is sometimes a bit off.  Letter spacing/size might be weird.  This past Christmas my wife got me a brown JA Wyoming jersey and it is nearly perfect.  Even has the legit Mitchell & Ness patch.  I get compliments on it all the team, and people don’t believe me that it is a fake.
