It was clearly a swipe at the Sabres fanbase...coming from a guy who's played in all of 7 games this year that sure is quite a statement to make

I don’t know if it was a swipe at the fan base or the local media. Could be either. The local media is pretty critical of the Sabres, and rightfully so.
