I was just wondering in my own brain how much interpersonal history with existing players comes into play for a GM when they are looking to acquire... like back when Gronk was out there... Is Beane like, I wonder what Tre would think of this....  Or do you ever bring in Lucic to play with Miller .. or is a GM like they are big boys deal with it.

I don't see how it makes any sense for him to play in Buffalo.

 

1. you just paid benford

2. you just invested a 1st rounder in Max

3. Jaire probably isn't signing for 1 year

 

So if you sign him, you basically are benching your first round pick for multiple seasons

If you cut Bosa you still have to pay pretty much his full contract. He has a $12,000,000 dead cap. How does that help anything?

Based on personality alone I would stick with Max. That guy is infectious like tre was.  I really like this kid

No thanks...he has been injured far too often the last 2 years, and at times, had some questions about just how injured he actually was.

Personally wasn't the only reason I would stick with Max lol. 

I think the kid will be good. I like how he is already a team player. This guy could be a glue type layer for this team. Either way I am glad we got some skill and youth on this D finally.

He was half way into 4 year $84mil extension, he has played in 14 games over the last 2 seasons. This might be the missing piece.

1 year 12 million, with incentives up to 20.   add void years to lower hit 

it's a fairly big if....but if he can stay on the field,  Benford + Jaire is quite a tandem. Certainly among the best.  The secondary is still really in need of more talent.

Once the injuries start to accumulate, it’s downhill from there.   There has to be other options.
