Holy crap. That gives me the willies, There was a club down the road from us and when they had plowed the parking lot the piles of snow on the edges was about 10 feet tall. Me and 2 friends dug a 3-room snow fort inside of it. Years later, I thought back on that and if that thing ever collapsed, we were dead.

I would pile all the snow from our driveway by the street and dig out a snow fort or igloo.  One day the plow came by and destroyed the fort, (fortunately no one was inside) .  My mom happened to see the plow and snow forts were then moved to the middle of the driveway , away from the street.

I mean there was The Goldbergs that was on like 10 or so years ago that was taking place during the 80s.  A similar format too with the narrator being the voice of the youngest character as an adult.   It was all right.  Not as good as the Wonder Years though

There's a Canadian version called Son of a Critch. It's okay.

On February 7, 1974: the western comedy film "BLAZING SADDLES" premiered.

A large portion of the population gets their knickers in a knot over what Brooks was parodying in the film.  Another large portion of the population would be happy turning back time to the worldview of Hedley Lamarr. 🤨

May common sense save us from both.

Back when Casio made great runners' chronographs.  1980s-1990s.  Ran circles around Timex Ironman series, both battery life and useful functions.

It tastes like water from a garden hose laying on the ground.

Some late 60’s summer visuals for me: dandelion covered lawns, bushes with mushy red berries we threw at each other, banana seat bikes, Mr. Softee, ding d0ng ditch, sleeping with the windows open.

2. Yeah, lots of houses had them in our neighborhood of rows of post war 900 sq. ft. Cape Cods.

3. Be less/more weird had I added the sissy handle bars?

5. Kids recently ddw’d me, just happened to see them coming. Gave them the thrill, waited, flipped on the porch light, stuck my head out all enraged.

Wicked monster!

5. You're supposed to be helping them get out more, NOT stay locked in behind technology playing video games or on SocialMedia all the time.  It takes a village!

I am, same little b’stards always sneaking down the creek out of sight into my backyard walking my trails. Got 8-10 ft. high banks and a fishing hole. Hope the umbrella policy is enough.
