3rdand12 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 The Big Fella is is on my Watch list during games now. My 1 tech obsession was not resolved last draft. And Walker was just not the right fit physically and his upright leverage post snap But this man has been a pleasant surprise indeed. He gets push. his eyes are outstanding. he has plenty of upper body power. Trending up too. Sanders might become an honest asset too with another year or two 11 minutes ago, Shortchaz said: Story of the season Almost as if we were cursed 🙄 Quote

More power is always good, but I think Beane envisioned him as a penetrating 3-technique tackle in the mold of Oliver. He did ok for someone who missed time early and played out of position quite a bit late. We rip Beane, but if Walker and Sanders both improve, he'll have done a nice job, even if Landon Jackson is a bust. Consider he also signed Hoecht, who looked great for the 36 minutes he played. 2 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 1 Posted January 1 The clip below gives a glimpse of the rookie DTs on a particular play. Walker does a tremendous job working through the mess here - essentially dealing with three interior blockers as they try to get the edge, yet never giving up a yard off the line of scrimmage while maintaining his ability to move laterally. Everything on the front side of this run looks good. Sanders, however, is a major reason this thing pops. The tackle gets a good jump on the snap and beats him inside. He never recovers, and isn’t able to work across the face of the blocker or disengage to close down the B gap. In a perfect world, he is able to pinch that gap down or cross the face of the tackle leaving Bosa there unblocked to clean up. 1 2 Quote
