If you'd like to say Keon Coleman turned out to be a Bad Pick - I'm not going to argue with you. I don't think anyone will.

 

However, that's not what this thread is about. It's about letting Xavier Worthy slip through our fingers and giving him to Kansas City. And Xavier Worthy is as big of a disappointment for Chiefs fans as Coleman is for us - considering the expectations they had for Worthy v. our expectations for Coleman. Worthy is shaping up to be a bust himself.

Agreed. It doesn't look like either one is going to be what their teams hoped for. But more in line with what the 32/33rd pick often gives you.

Exactly.  Most first rounders do not become great players, and the great ones tend to come from the top of the draft.   I think only about half of all first rounders become solid starters for their entire careers.   Some only become "starters" because their teams keeping hoping they'll improve (especially true about first round QBs) or only play at a high level for a season or two.  Many last in the league as backup and/or special teamers.
