NoName Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I would rather Moore, Shakir and Diggs over Moore, Shakir and Palmer and it aint even close. 1 1 Quote

Playoffs only: 2 TDs in 9 games, or 0.22 TDs per playoff game (so basically, 1 TD every 5 playoff games) He averaged 66.6 yards per playoff game in Buffalo. But, he had a very good playoff run in 2020. If you take 2020 (his first year in Buffalo) out of it, his last three years in Buffalo (2021-2023), he averaged only 48 yards and 0 TDs per playoff game. And he's three years and a torn ACL removed from that. Plus he will turn 33 years old during the season. Even if he left on good terms, I don't think I would want him back at this point. 3 1 1 Quote

And the above doesn't even touch on what a crap teammate he is, what a crap person he is, and how he's cycled through 3 teams in the last 3 years. If New England didn't want him back, that tells you all you need to know about how he'd fit with the Bills. It's easier to burn a bridge than to build one and Diggs is not a builder. 2 2 Quote
folz Posted June 3 Posted June 3 1 minute ago, Warriorspikes51 said: you do realize he was a very good player for the Pats last season right? Depends on what you mean by very good. Yes, he had a 1,000-yard season, but that was on 102 targets (1,013 yards). His 11.9 yards per reception ranked 57th among wide receivers. And he only had 4 TDs all season (again, about 1 TD every 4-5 games). That equates to 59.6 yards and 0.24 TDs per regular season game. Those aren't numbers that are going to help get us over the hump, imo (even if they'd be slightly better with Josh). And again, when it really counts: in four playoff games with the Pats last year, he averaged 27.5 yards and 0.25 TDs per playoff game. 3 2 Quote
colin Posted June 3 Posted June 3 he fell apart late, maybe his problems w mcd (that i have heard rumored) or brad or whatever made him play bad at the time, but he just sucked when it counted and we were close to (yet another) chip run. we'd be fools to expect differently from him. 1 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) In his last season with the Bills, 2023, Diggs quit on the team. He took himself out on third downs in important games. Many times. You NEVER bring back a player who quit on the team. End of story. Edited June 3 by Ray Stonada 2 1 4 Quote

stevestojan Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Culture has gotten us to be a perennial playoff loser. I would sign the entirety of cell block C of a super max if it meant a Lombardi. 1 Quote

folz Posted June 3 Posted June 3 To belabor the playoff issues for Diggs. Stefon has played 18 playoff games over his career (with three teams: Minn, Buf, NE): -He only has four 100+ yard receiving games out of 18 (22%) -Only 3 games with 100+ receiving yards and 1 TD -Only 5 total playoff TDs over 18 games -Only 6 of 18 games did he have more than 60 yards -In 9 games (half of his playoff games), he was held under 40 yards (and no TDs for 8 of those 9 games too). -His averages across those 18 games are 56.6 yards receiving and 0.27 TDs/game. -His averages over his last 10 playoff games (w/Buf and NE over the last 5 years) are 39.9 yards receiving and 0.10 TDs/game. Isn't it in the playoffs where we have needed better from our receivers? How would Diggs help us at this point? 1 2 Quote

Missing the playoffs and losing in the playoffs gets you that same trophy. And missing the playoffs at least gets you a better draft pick. 1 Quote

Lol, true that A I /edge browser copilot has a mind of its own unfortunately. If enough sites have the bogus info A I will repeat it as fact. Sorry for the mistake (lazy posting on my part) The fact of the matter remains. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs had a very productive connection. Decline in production towards the end had more to do with change in OC/offensive philosophy then a decline in athletic abilities in QB and WR. Edited June 3 by Figster 1 Quote
yall Posted June 3 Posted June 3 So what turd is still circling the toilet bowl that has my lunatic wife under the misguided impression that Diggs is coming back? 1 Quote

Josh has become a father now. Perhaps problem child/Diggs wouldn't be as much of a problem in the eyes of the QB. I'm just saying🤷♂️ 1 Quote
