All that playing catch with kids before games, and showing up alone to see Damar in the hospital in Cincinnati feels weird now. Like a campaign. I thought at the time the Damar visit was weird. It could start with a reporter he doesn’t like, or maybe not being utilized as he sees fit… but it will emerge and be a fun watch as the Pats navigate it. At this point he’s not the face of that team. He’s a nice perk not a cornerstone. “you are at the end of the road - are you going to write the story of a savvy team first vet, or the guy that couldn’t buy in anywhere and teams regretted” And then you plan to bail from him on a short timeline Edited Saturday at 06:53 PM by NoSaint Quote

I might have judged him too harshly, but it could be both-and. He might have been sincerely upset and clutch and, at the same time, careful to be seen as upset and clutch. Quote

I havent been one to defend him much, but also didnt hold his exit against him very long. The dynamic youre talking about makes sense in the context of being an overly emotional dude. His emotions just come out stronger, good or bad, than most people's. I dont think any of what youre describing is him being phony, doing it for cameras. Dude certainly appears to be bipolar, and not the hyperbolic version people tend to throw around. Like the living embodiment of a clinical version. He would probably get a lot of stability out of being diagnosed and taking medication for it. Hes got some maturity issues too, no doubt. I choose to think of the good Diggs more than the a-hole on the way out. First 3 years of Stef, was my fav Bills feeling of all time. Maybe he doesn't deserve benefit of the doubt, but our fanbase deserves to believe thst was all authentic. Mental illnesses of every degree are a real b***! 2 1 Quote

It'll be interesting to see to what degree if any, his career mortality causes him to try to be a better teammate... or if he'll fail miserably. As was just mentioned, there's probably some element of mental illness at work here too. 14 hours ago, Blackbeard said: Guys like this set a horrible example for the kids. California it's 25% for 1 kid. While NY it would be 31% for 4 kids in California it's 60%. Yeah, it's a good thing he left Buffalo. 🤣🤣🤣 Also, he previously had 3 other kids. So that will make 7 total now. That's expensive in any state. Edited Sunday at 02:13 AM by Donuts and Doritos 1 1 Quote

There's a cap, and there has to be cause to exceed the cap (which there would be). He's not paying 60pc of 20m. Quote
streetkings01 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) I know we’re supposed to hate how Diggs forced his way out of Buffalo, but looking at this season, you have to wonder if he saw this coming. The Super Bowl window feels like it’s closing, and outside of relying on Josh Allen to keep it open, there hasn’t been much done to support him. Injuries are part of it, but the bigger issue is balance — the offense can’t find rhythm in the passing game, the defense can’t stop the run, and the depth just isn’t holding up. It’s been a frustrating year all around. Edited 22 hours ago by streetkings01 2 5 1 3 Quote
