Sorry to hear, I hope they let you go a little early at least 🍷

I'm the Division Manager, so I'm stuck having to listen to all of the presentations.

"Anything on your end?"

"No"

Boom. Promotion.

Unfortunately there is too much happening. We took over an underperforming group and we have to radically re-organize them. To give you an idea as to how bad it is, their performance level is similar to that of Kevyn Adams of the Sabres. :P

Did anyone have the camera pitched at an odd angle, shooting up into the bottom of their nose?  That’s always pleasant.

Nothing like that, but most people don't realize that their camera is pointed at them all of the time, so we get some wonderful visuals of people nose-picking, stuffing their face with food and drink, staring at their phones, etc.

107% on pasta from Italy.

Why?

Anti dumping

Because Italian pasta makers are selling to their biggest customer at a loss

Why, so they can gain market share that they already have 86% of.

So 13 Italian producers, got together to undercut prices in a market they already have 86% of.

Trump logic...take away food stamps, now cheap pasta.

That’s weird, I was told tariffs reduce prices for Americans?

So it took the Administration 7 months to realize that the United States doesn't produce bananas or coffee and that tariffs on those products would hurt rather than help.

President Chaos.

Ford Execs Praise Trump’s Auto Tariffs: ‘We Are No Longer Disadvantaged’ for Making Cars in America

by John Binder

Executives at Ford Motor Company are praising President Donald Trump’s expanded auto tariffs, saying such duties will ensure that manufacturing in the United States is no longer a disadvantage for American companies. Last month, Trump announced a 25% tariff on imports of medium and heavy-duty trucks and truck parts, such as large pick-up trucks, moving trucks, cargo trucks, dump trucks, and tractors for eighteen-wheelers. In a recent earnings call, Ford CEO Jim Farley thanked Trump for the newly announced tariffs on foreign cars and car parts.

Likewise, Ford placed an ad campaign in several newspapers backing Trump’s tariffs and vowing to continue building their cars in the United States.

“At our assembly plants in Michigan, Missouri, Kentucky, and Ohio, tens of thousands of [United Auto Worker] members put their expertise and pride into assembling Ford F-series trucks,” the ad reads. “In an era of complex supply chains, our commitment to the American workforce is unwavering. We believe the backbone of our economy is supported by American workers.”

CNN, last week, admitted that Trump’s tariffs on the auto industry had not decimated such automakers as economists and auto executives claimed without evidence would happen.

“Automakers were close to panic when Trump announced plans for a 25% tariff on all imported vehicles, including those from Mexico and Canada, since all companies depend on imported parts to build at US assembly plants and almost all import from those neighboring countries,” the CNN report admits:

So more tariffs, now on Canadian potassium fertilizer.

Now this will increase food prices....oh but wait, the wizard just pulled a socialist solution from his butt and helped to subsidize farmers with 12 billion, partially because their sales are down because Canada has stopped buying US food products.

So socialism is alive and well in the maga plan.

But wait, a real solution is possible. If a tariff on potash creates all this bs, the contracts that US companies freely bargained with Canadian suppliers should be ripped up and the Canadian suppliers should just increase prices by 25%.

It stops socialism creeping into America...thank you, you are welcome, just trying to help maga boys understand actual economics.
