Years ago high schools used to play their sectional championship games in the Ralph.

1. Do they still do that?

2. If yes, do you think they would let the high schools still do it?

How awesome would that be as a teenager!

I'm guessing there will be another coin for the first game.

I would think so too

I think I have heard Sal C mention they will no longer be playing the Sectional championship games inside the new stadium

Not sure where they will play them now.

No it's not going to happen anymore

I'm very involved with section 6 and I've got early word that it's not happening

Especially because they're going to natural grass it just would destroy the field for the bills having all those games in a week at the Ralph

People use the term cost overrun without knowing what it means or how to apply it. The only thing the Builder can give a cost proposal (bid) on is the Scope that appears on the architect’s drawings. So for example the Builder can’t quote a price for interior finishes that he’s never seen. You may recall the lack of interior renderings was a running joke. I’m guessing the reason we didn’t see them was because the designs hadn’t been finalized…so Pegula pays those costs. Are they overruns? Not really, but they’d be put in that category. Make sense?

yes this makes perfect sense. I never thought of that, but yeah no way on initial proposal asking for bid could anyone know the exact wants or cost of those finishes if they still have not been decided what it was going to be.....lol   ty sir;

side note: these finishes can apparently be pretty expensive. That graffiti was reported as 150k damage. yikes! don't mess w marble lol

You’re welcome. Sometimes I would have the Contractor include a placeholder $ in their initial proposal just so we’re not starting from a baseline of nothing. So for example, the bid documents might say the Bidder is to assume painted drywall on all walls and ceilings….that way only upgrades are an added cost.

We got seat views before renderings!?

Anyone else surprised by the design of the stairs? If youre in any of these seats for the first couple rows, your view is going to obstructed all game long as people go up and down the stairs.

Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing about obstruction views

I've sat in similar seats at The Linc. As long as the ushers do their job and keep people from walking up and down during a play, it really does not affect the view.

You’re not going to convince @Einstein of anything…he has a singleminded purpose of trashing everything about the new barn.

Doesn’t a barn usually come with a roof? (Asking for a friend.) 😳

Bills social media announced that the new stadium's exterior paneling has been completed. YT video shows a drone view.

Interestingly, it looks like the area of the buffalo sculptures 🦬 is being prepared.

I’m already prepared to be disappointed that the bison statues won’t be big enough.

I’m honestly amazed at how long it took to install the exterior perforated paneling. It was well underway when I toured the stadium in early August. But with that said, you can see that the exterior as well as the inside of the seating bowl are essentially complete now. They appear to be in great shape schedule wise and any remaining weather shouldn’t impact them much from this point until the finish line.

Go Bills
