I remember many of us thought he would take over for Poyer or Hyde eventually but that never seemed to materialize. I think it was in the Patriots game where Belichick threw the phone - Jaquon Johnson took the direct snap on a fake punt and threw a first down pass to Siran Neal But whatever games he ended up starting last year, he took some atrocious angles on tackling ball carriers. I seem to recall someone taking one to the house, or just a very long gain on one of his whiffs. Unfortunately it did not materialize in Buffalo. The NFL is a tough place to make a living. A lot of Jacquan Johnson's out there. If the Bills want more than a special teamer, they need to fill his spot with someone who has a higher ceiling and more athleticism. The Bills were never going to have enough cap room to make a splash signing and still fill the holes they needed to fill. I don't mind.
