What would you trade for Jerry Jeudy?

RocCityRoller

Would you trade the #1 pick (27 overall) for Jerry Jeudy?

  1. 1. If Denver would trade Jerry Jeudy for a #1 overall, but no other compansation, would you do it?

    • Give Denver what they want, Jerry Jeudy is a stud
      0
    • #1 pick only (pick #27) - Jeudy is a better WR than can be found at #27
    • I would trade for him, but a #2 and other considerations at most
    • Nope, not interested in Jerry Jeudy

We’d like your $5M underperforming, yet talented WR please.

We’ll give you our $10M underperforming, yet talented DT.

Hello? …?  I think they hung up.

This is the point exactly

Jeudy failed in Denver

Oliver failed in Buffalo

Can Buffalo with Allen raise Juedy?

Can Denver raise Oliver?

How much does 5m this year cost???

Is Jeudy a failure because of QB?

Is Oliver a failure because of 'the rotaion'?

The move would have to be Ed Oliver + a pick no lower than Round 2 and probably us taking on the difference of Ed Oliver's contract v. Jerry Jeudy's so that both teams cap situation stays the exact same.

BUT

I know fans are all ready to move on from Ed Oliver. But if you listened to Beane's presser yesterday, he specifically mentioned Ed and Gabe as guys he would like to keep for years to come beyond their Rookie contracts. So I don't know that he's on the same page.

Plus, we'd have to find a replacement for Ed on the Defensive Line. Can't go into the year with Daquan Jones and Tim Settle as our starters and nothing behind them.

Both guys have produced, but not to their draft status.

Both guys have a 5 year controllable contract

Neither have 5 years in their contacts.

Yea unfortunately. Ed has more value to the bills this year , by playing

they have no freaking players on the DL. Unbelievable

What do you say TBD?

I would do it in a NY Minute

I believe you.

But somehow I think Denver wouldn't.

Not whipping boy, just a guy who is using up more cap space than his production so far has warranted.

Just wait, the season hasn't started yet.

It's nice that Ed Oliver took the baton from Edmunds of TBD whipping boy.

On defense, certainly.  But who will step up on the offensive side?

Spot on !! I think for the $5m they will want some comp. They will ask for our 2- we give them our 3? Frees up $5 m that can be used for FA LB or OT.

The goal of a number 1 draft pick is to get a five year starter playing under a rookie deal.  Not to get a player for two years who will command full market value of a FA after that.

AND that is exactly why the Bills won’t make this trade. As they surely shouldn’t. Not for a #1. For our #2, sure.

he is a rookie on a $10m contract this year as a rookie.

None of his salary is guaranteed.

Trade him or resign him for how much???

WTF? Oliver’s $10.75M 5th year option became fully guaranteed the instant the Bills picked it up.

  • Awesome! (+1) 1
