Not my first choice but definitely a huge upgrade over Saffold.

From USA Today about his PFF grade:

"His 74.7 grade over the past two years ranks 13th among centers, his 69.8 pass-blocking grade places 16th and his 76.9 run-blocking grade comes in at 13th."

I’m pretty sure that’s about the Jets center with the exact same name

To be fair, show a free agent signed today that is not an overpay. That’s basically all free agency is.

it almost literally means that.  nobody else would pay more - or they would be there.

But Contract details matter.  3/23 seems like a lot. But if it’s really 2/10 - it feels better

Is that the one that plays for the Jets?

now get the other McGovern and other Josh Allen.

in all seriousness, seemed like there were better guard FAs available.  Hope this won't prevent us from drafting a great G/C in the 2nd if one is there.

Totally overpaid for a dude who had a 52 PFF score. Yikes
