Glad he’s back, he was criminally underused.

the most head scratching aspect of the entire year was the major emphasis on finding multiple pass catching backs, only to never use them.

yeah head scratching for sure. draft a guy like Cook and Shakir and barely use them to catch passes SMH

Beane is a wizard in getting players to take pay cuts but then guaranteeing the lower contract. Win-win for both Bills and players. Just did the same thing with Tim Settle to save another 600K.

didn't see this any where but Settle helped out with the cap as well.

I posted it in the restructuring thread yesterday afternoon, but probably should have done a new thread on it.

Recall reading that one of the issues they had was right after they traded for Hines, Allan got hurt, then the blizzard.  So left few if any practices for Allen to work with Hines to get on same page.  Seem to recall reading that by later Nov or so the two of them had only 3 or 4 practices together so was hard to be on same page.

Only so many snaps. Who do you take off the field?

Not the point.  Bills went after McKissic, signed Duke Williams, drafted Cook, traded for Hines.  There was clearly an emphasis to add this dimension to the offense.

had to be some sort of disconnect between the front office and coaching staff.
