I don't think the Bills defense would have done the same. The Eagles probably run the ball down the Bills throats. While the Chiefs are known for their offense it's their defense that plays well enough to where they have 2 Lombardi trophies. The Bills defense usually chokes in big spots. I think the other thing is,Spagnola is a game day coach. He adjusts his D whereas it always seems like the Bills go in with an idea and never adjust. IT SAYS RIGHT HERE THAT PLAYING SOFT ZONE 15 YARDS OFF THE LOS IS THE WAY TO BEAT THE BENGALS

We have been straight bend don't break. It's not enough. 1

Beane said they won't be bringing in an outside guy and Jordan Poyer actually slipped and said "McDermott is still a really great defensive coordinator, errr, I mean defensive-minded head coach." McDermott is going to call the plays imo. 4

Frank Clark in particular may be a disappointment in the regular season but come playoffs he is dominating. We don’t have anyone on defense that steps up. Maybe Taron Johnson? That’s why they went and got Von. Edited March 17 by Buffalo_Stampede

Von alone can't be the only guy who can get to the QB.

There are also other ways to get pressure, by being more aggressive with the blitz at key times. Not saying I wouldn’t be thrilled to add another pass rush threat, but we probably have bigger needs to fill.
TheyCallMeAndy
So we’ve got Von and Davis pulling for King Henry… No idea how they’d fit that under the cap…

If von doesn’t come back the same or if someone else gets injured, we’re in trouble. Wouldn’t doubt it if Nolan Smith was our pick @

I think a veteran pass rusher will be added. They’ll also re-sign Jordan Phillips.
