Gimme Isiah Pacheco the Chiefs 7th rd RB who just helped them win a Super Bowl. But if they keep running Allen on short yardage, they need a guy for short yardage and down inside the red zone. Could just be conjecture out of thin air, but ESPN guys (albeit the Bart Scott squad) mentioned the Bills being interested in Henry. Same panel also thought Crowder was under contract next year though, so.. not hugely confident in ESPN’s non-Schefter reliability anymore. Jamaal isn't just running through gaping holes by the Lions offense, he is running with power and finding slivers to get through and finding his own holes. He is getting stuffed and then bouncing it outside for the score. He is ripping off big runs in other parts of the field. He had a 4.1 YPC despite being a short yardage and redzone specialist with Swift there, and there were times where Jamaal ran more as the number 1 back over Swift. This guy is a smart, passionate, and fiery football player who can find creases that most guys wont despite being a big powerful back. Then of course he brings that power, but its an explosive power, he has very good acceleration and burst. And he is a very good receiver out of the backfield too. For those saying "But Bijan"...well you need to move on. There is not much of a chance Bijan is getting to us at 27, he might even go top 10. But ever if by some miracle Bijan slipped to us, they could still draft him. Signing Jamaal doesn't mean they can't draft Bijan if he unexpectedly falls to us. How many Redzone trips did we not score a TD on last year? How many short yardage plays did we see kill drives? And you don't want a guy who was maybe the best in the NFL in those areas last year and has been most his career? Not to mention, he is a great pairing with Cook where they can play a lot like Ingram and Kamar did in NO for so long.
