We would go to his house (lived across the street from a good friend) and ask for punch. He always replied "I got your punch right here" while making a fist, smiling and laughing the whole time. He was part of one of the best o-lines in team history in 1980, which led the league in fewest sacks allowed in 1980 and got Cribbs rookie of the year. So hard nosed physical and violent. So many crazy characters. And so much raw energy and passion on the field every week. And Conrad Dobler was right in the middle of all that mayhem.
