Bills 2022 Offensive and Defensive Splits

The 2nd Half scoring on offense is pretty telling. Possibly teams figured out what we were doing and made necessary adjustments coming out of the half. It could also be complacency because we had a lead. These guys need to put their foot on the gas and bury teams versus letting them hang around in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah it was.  Especially in the 2nd half of the season...right after the Packer game.

On defense: Biggest thing to me is 1st and 3rd down Yards per play.

Especially 3rd down, we gave up alot more yardage than in 2021.  Definitely an area that stood out, from just watching games (and not looking at stats).

The stats do support this.

Splits:

3rd and 10+ YPA allowed

2021 4.1

2022 7.4
