Buffalo Super Fan Posted January 28, 2023 Share Posted January 28, 2023 Yes as a Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Braves fan I don’t care what happens to the New York Rangers or New York Knicks. So I didn’t do the switch to the New York Knicks thing when the Buffalo Braves left Buffalo because the Knicks along with the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers were our Atlantic Division rivals. I stayed loyal to the Buffalo Braves-San Diego Clippers-Los Angeles Clippers even to this day I root for the NBA Braves-Clippers basketball team. But there is a reason one of the wealthiest cities in the United States New York City don’t win championships anymore at MSG and it’s James Dolan. James Dolan is the modern day Harold Ballard the former owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs. I don’t believe that the Knicks will ever win a championship again while James Dolan is the Knicks owner. There are reasons why LeBron James never wanted to play in New York City it’s two words James Dolan. The Knicks like the New York Jets under owner Woody Johnson aren’t winning there screwed up owners no one any good free agents wise wants to play for these terrible owners in my opinion. Go Bills! No He did many great things for the AFL NFL and Buffalo Bills including giving my city 2 AFL championships… And ensuring they stay here forever He also made one of his players the highest paid players ever in the 70s 80s , The 90s teams called the million dollar bills and 2000s He spent money On the wrong guys and that’s not even including all the millions and millions and millions of dollars he gave to the city of Buffalo to build Children’s hospitals and other stuff including making sure we STAY If the bills won four games a year for 50 years… And my last sentence was still true about him giving tons of his money to the city…. The last decade and a half or Ralph's ownership was tough, too old to realize what a snake oil salesman Russ Brandon was but he gave us the franchise, helped bring AFL teams to the merger and left a lasting mark on the area.
