Finally, what playoff game against a formidable opponent has his defense been dominant. The short answer is none. A lot can change in 2 weeks in the NFL To be fair, the defense did a decent job against the Dolphins. Turnovers causing short fields was the issue, and they mostly gave up field goals. The Bengals game was a whole different story. As for the McDermott & Allen haters, they will always be here. Even if the Bills win the Super Bowl next season, they will still be angry and saying that we should be winning our 3rd consecutive Super Bowl. I just think they need to announce "We feel we need to move in another direction".....and McD says for now he'll assume the D.C. duties....and then end up calling the plays next year. Just wondering. 🤔 Well, there are maybe a handful to 10 people interviewing for HC jobs, so not a surprise that one of the 64 coordinators in the league is not interviewing. Head Coach interviews tend to be "hot names", usually meaning guys whose O or D was highly ranked. People and owners forget that players have a great deal with success. So they can be the hot prospect who moves on in 2 years? With Frazier, we have years of valuable experience and he’s probably following McDermott’s defensive blueprint anyway. Keeping him provides stability and continuity with players who know and understand the system. The down side may be that the defense has become predictable to opponents.
