Yeah, his point makes absolutely no sense.

it makes perfect sense. the nflpa wants as much guaranteed money as possible.

At the expense of every other position?  It's not in my nature to argue with Clint Eastwood, but you have put me in a tough spot.

I cant see another owner doing something as dumb as fully guaranteeing a contract.

I think the Miami owner is getting more desperate with each passing season. And now he knows with Tia’s injury history he doesn’t have a long term Qb.

I could see them going all in for Lamar. But Lamar has his own injury woes now too.

I wouldn't see that happening, tbh.

McDaniel is from the Shanahan school, which is why Tua is a good 'fit'. I simply don't see Lamar as ever being a 'timing' passer.

Fins are very close to QB purgatory atm, mainly because their options are very limited.

Garoppolo would be a 'fit', but he's almost as regularly crocked as Tua, although without the concussions.

About the only guy I see as being available and a 'fit', is Mayfield, but I see him as sticking around in LA, for Staffords retirement.

I think the Miami owner is desperate for a big splash though. Agree Lamar probably not a good fit for McDaniels system but not sure the owner cares.
